  • Wonderful friendly place to stay.

"The place is cozy, clean, nice. But what made me feel welcome was the owner Dan. He is a great person who knows how to treat his guests. I have a cat and Dan has a policy "pet friendly" so it makes all the difference. Being a woman alone there i felt safe even to take my cat for a walk late in the night. It's close to supermarkets, restaurants and the main part of Deerfield where people go to have fun. Thank you Dan for nice time and make me feel in a family environment."

  • A little slice of heaven....loved it!!

"Thank you, Tony for sharing your little Slice of paradise with us! This place is a piece of old Florida heaven! The buildings are the old sixties style 2 story but are kept very well maintained. The grounds are kept immaculately by Dale, the rest of the staff and the managers have been very friendly and helpful! Josh welcomed us at check in with a smile and Ella has been a wealth of information and helpfulness. Even the other guests have been friendly and welcoming but how could anybody be anything but in this atmosphere. Our suite is immaculate and delightfully decorated in the beach theme and was just newly renovated. The AC was extremely cold, much to my delight and my roommate's chilblains. This is now my "happy place" where I will go when I close my eyes at work! Thank you Tony and Sunrise Ocean Suites for a wonderful peaceful and relaxing vacation! I'll be back! Warmest regards, Mary, Angie and Jenny"

  • Outstanding visit to Deerfield Beach

"Bottom line up front: We had a great time- Dave and Heidi were friendly and responsive and easy to work with, the property is in great shape and exactly as billed, the location is interesting and convenient to the beach, and we can't wait to go back again. As other have commented- the place is very well maintained. There is a modern kitchen with most everything you'd need, a full size washer/dryer, two bedrooms (both with TVs), a nice sitting area (another TV) and an eating area. Oh, and a double LazyBoy recliner, which is really nice after a long day. Two full bathrooms. A private parking spot (this is key) makes it possible to abandon your car and make the five minute walk to the beach while the rest of the world is trying to find parking. The condo is on the 2nd floor right on the main drag through town, and it certainly did get loud on Friday and Saturday nights until about 2AM but not obtrusively so with the windows shut and A/C on. Other nights were much quieter. If you are a light sleeper you might want a sound machine or earplugs for those two nights. There is significant construction going on immediately behind the condo- a major expansion is in progress. There was surprisingly little work being done the week we were there, so noise was not an issue but it would be worth checking on the status of the project with Dave-- I could see it being a noise issue if things were really going full speed there. People mentioned the beds- the 2nd bedroom has a very soft mattress, but again not an issue for us (translation: the kids slept great after a day at the beach!). We were there with our two kids- and again the location is great because it's walking distance to the beach and even the 4 year old had no troubles making the walk. The extra touches were nice- laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper provided makes it so you don't have to buy tons of supplies. Shopping was easy at Publix a mile away. Plenty of great food opportunities in walking distance- Whale's Rib was excellent. There is good ice cream to be had close by, and if you want a dinner worth making a trip for, head to Charm City Burgers (a short drive and very crowded, but so worth it). Being able to eat in a few times helped save cost and was very convenient. If you are there with kids- we did a few side trips to a great child's water park (Quiet Waters Splash Park- $5 and awesome) and Butterfly World (expensive, but cool if you've never been"

  • Memorable 4th of July at Deerfield Beach, FL!

"Great location!!! Walking distance to it all! This was our second stay at this property. Last visit we were on the second floor, but this time we selected the first floor 1/1 unit (same owner). Avoiding stairs makes it easier when traveling with little ones. The owners are very attentive and helpful...just a phone call or quick text away. There is also a manager on site in case you have an emergency but we didn't need to bother her. This unit is in a quiet condo community, very close to the beach, pier, shopping and restaurants. It had absolutely everything needed for a home away from home. It was nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything to facilitate a very enjoyable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to buy some groceries and cook daily to save some money. My kids enjoyed the warm pool as well. The neighbors are very friendly and we felt very safe here. For this holiday, the main street is closed to allow food trucks, vendors, live music and activities for the kids. The firework show was right at the pier. It was amazing. We will surely return! Highly recommended."
