  • Clean - Comfortable

"The place is much larger than expected and very comfortable. The unit itself and the appliances are quite old but the space was clean and has all items needed for a longer stay. The unit is located at the end of a building with the assigned parking space right in front of the entrance. The small balcony faces the back but the trees are covering the view of the water so the picture showing a water view is outdated. The complex has a pool and a Jacuzzi and is secured by a guarded entrance gate. It is very convenient to the grocery store and a small shopping center that has the basic stores and access to major thru street fares of Doral. This place is not close to the beach and to go to Miami beach it can take up to 1 hr based on the traffic. Without traffic about 35 min. The airport is about 25 min away (again traffic at some times of the day can be brutal). For us was not a problem because we needed to stay in Doral and it was convenient to the job site (12 min by car) . A bit more pricey of other units in the same complex but will stay here again"

  • Great place in Miami to stay with family

"We had a 3 bedroom 4 bath Villa in building 4, and it was perfect for our family reunion. The villa was not central to our vacation, it was the place to rest and sleep, so we didn't explore the "resort" as much. If planning to use the kitchen, you will need to bring paper towels, soap, cooking utensils and knifes. 7/11 nearby has it all. We didn't go into the pool but it looked nice. You can walk across to 53rd street for restaurants and shops. All in, I would recommend the place for what it was for us, not a destination but good hub The good: Villa is a 2 story unit, enter through the second level of the building and you are in the kitchen-family room with a full bath and large balcony. Then go upstairs and you have 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths and 2 additional balconies The rooms are large, bathrooms large and good showers. The beds where foam, and very comfortable, with room cleaning service every day, fresh towels, and basics. Kitchen has a full size fridge, microwave, stove with basic items. The location is pretty good, near highway and close to most places we wanted to see. The Doral area is undergoing a rebuild, and it is looking very nice with good restaurants and a park right across the street. There is a guard gate by the entrance so it feels secure enough. Everything worked to our expectation for this type of place, and even though you can see the planes flying low over the villa, inside was very quiet. All 4 showers were very roomy, that was a great plus for 5 adults getting ready for the day. Room cleaning included kitchen clearing as well. TVs in every room and in the master bathroom, they all worked. Wifi was surprisingly strong and speedy, exceeded our expectations. Starbucks or Cuban coffee places are a 5 min drive away. The not so good: Breakfast buffet at the restaurant - avoid it, food is sparse, bland and coffee terrible. For Miami, coffee was luke warm colored water. The fridge freezer door wouldn't open. The place is dark, dim lightbulbs but thats the new trend in most hotels anyway. Could be cleaner, lots of long black hairs on bathroom floor which wouldn't be ours, at all. No paper towels or any towels for kitchen, so bring some. Balconies where great, but smokers around you stink it up, smell was horrible out there. Typical Florida AC, has hard time keeping up with mid-day heat. Elevator doesn't work, not a big deal for us, but if you have mobility impaired persons you have to take the stairs"
