  • Gorgeous Ocean Front View!

"LOVED the view from the balcony while reading in the gravity chair! The inside decor was appealing and modern - the couch was comfy, the kitchen although small had everything you needed and newer appliances. The onsite Tiki Bar served GREAT food and drinks. The valet parking was reasonable at $8/day compared to other facilities and the beach chair rental also a good value at $5/day. Mai Kai Polynesian, La Bamba Mexican, and 15th Street Fisheries restaurants were choices we made that were excellent! Rose and Neil provided wonderful service and follow-up. Had a wonderful time! I would definitely rent the condo again if returning to Fort Lauderdale!"

  • Beautiful location

"The Pelican is a wonderful property and though the room we stayed in was not oceanside, it was very comfortable. The king bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. The only change I would make is to change out the carpet, which had a few stains on it. Loved the fact there was a microwave and a refrigerator."

  • Perfect Vacation

"This place is the perfect space for a stress-free getaway! My friend and I stayed for five nights and had the most relaxing time. Our flights got in late on our arrival date, so Victor was flexible enough to meet us the next day for payment. The condo was great for our needs--we didn't stay much in the room because we wanted ample beach time, but it was wonderful to have a full kitchen to keep snacks and drinks. The view of the ocean was spectacular and the walk to the beach couldn't have been easier. The condo is located within walking distance of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and we used Lyft to go into downtown and back and forth to the airport. There is a Winn Dixie, liquor store, restaurants, a nail salon all within walking distance of the resort, as well. The resort restaurant/bar, tiki bar, and staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly. There were many kids around, so if you have them, this place is very kid-friendly. The room was quiet even though there were many people around us having a good time. Victor and Carole were very responsive to correspondence and helpful with answering any questions. Really hope to get back one day! Thanks again!"

  • Great Location!

"My wife and 3 daughters stayed here for 4 nights. We were excited to escape the Wisconsin winter and this was a great place to stay. It is located in a nice spot just a block off Las Olas Blvd which makes it super convenient if you want to walk to any bars or restaurants, there are many just a stones throw away. There is also a nice park on the river just 4 blocks away which my kids enjoyed walking to and building fairy houses. :) Of course the thing they loved the most was the heated pool. It is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation which makes it feel fairly private despite the neighboring properties being so close. There are many lounge chairs, a grill, and a patio table for dining outside. They have a few pool toys like noodles and wake boards which is a nice touch. There is even a large area of sand adjacent to the pool which gave our kids a chance to build sandcastles. The interior of the home was spacious enough for everyone to spread out. It was very clean. There are flat screen TV's in all of the bedrooms and living room area. They are "smart" TV's so you can even log into your Amazon or Netflix accounts if you need some downtime for the kids to watch movies. I would say our only disappointment of the home would be the kitchen. It is fairly small and cramped. The amount of silverware was quite light (only 5 forks!) along with a fairly scant selection of dishes and cookware. The pots and pans were also in poor condition......could definitely use some upgrades. Overall, this was a great place to getaway and entertain the kids. The layout of the home is a bit quirky (my kids counted 7 doors to the outside) but is comfortable and cozy. A nice location close to the beach and local entertainment. Thanks Justice for allowing us to stay at your cottage!"
