  • Luxury in a private oasis perfectly describes this property!

"We just spent a week at this amazing property and loved every minute of it. The home is beautifully designed — it has been remodeled in an exceptional way. The interior is stunningly beautiful and is pure luxury. The kitchen is filled with high end appliances and granite countertops — complete with an array of cookbooks and spices. The pool and deck area is fabulous and includes an outdoor eating area — you can stay outside all day, take a dip in the salt water pool, and sit in the shade under the umbrellas. It's just the perfect place for the perfect vacation!"

  • Great house for a family vacation

"This house worked really well for our family vacation with 7 adults and two baby grandsons. The house is large with a pool house (which has one of the bedrooms) adjacent to the swimming pool. Large family room and dining area adjacent to kitchen and adjacent to screened porch provided large area for the toddler to roam, and the large dining table accommodated us all really well. The house is a block from the beach and looks out on a creek and state park in back. Good porch furniture and pool furniture. Very quiet and private. The house is used for rentals only and is somewhat sparsely furnished which was mostly OK with us. The master bedroom could have used more lighting. Not sure about the other bedrooms. Because the house is rental only and furniture has been well-used, you don't have to worry about damaging furniture. The kitchen had enough plates and lots of pots and pans , knives and forks, but could have been better stocked with other items--e.g. mixing bowls, salad bowls, measuring cups and spoons, wooden spoons. We ended up buying some additional equipment but encourage the owners to more fully equip the kitchen. Appliances were very modern, and once we figured out how to use them they were excellent. Great refrigerator space--large one in kitchen, small one in bar area, and extra in garage. We could see that it would be a great party house. The owners/managers were very responsive, working with us to change the reservation and accommodating early arrival and late departure when it didn't conflict with other reservations. We would definitely rent this house again, but work with the owners earlier in the stay to make sure that it was equipped with everything we needed and would have expected."

  • What a beautiful place. My family of six had plenty of room, almost like being home.

"Close walking distance to restaurants and bars. Pool was nice with a bar and restaurant attached."

  • Great, funky historic home in a wonderful location!

"Pleasantly surprised to find this great, funky bungalow style historic home on the western edge of everything Fort Lauderdale has to offer. A very quite neighborhood, yet just minutes to restaurant and the Riverfront. For those that are active, you can access the beachfront with an hour walk, but plenty to see and do along the way. Shauna was a very hospitable and responsive host. I will definitely stay again and recommend to any singles, couples or small families visiting the area."
