Here are some comments:
The place was spotless and clean.
The process to get in and settled wasn't bad. I would note here that you need CASH for these first few things to do. Cash for the car parking and cash for the "Fob" to get into the locked doors. Lastly, the pool wrist bands are free but get them while you are getting the parking and the "fob" taken care of. Everyone that will be in the pool needs to be PRESENT to get a wrist band.
The views are minimal toward the beach but you can see it if you're are at the very end of the balcony. The ocean breeze is nice on the 5th floor.
Kitchen is mostly well stocked with most of what you need to cook. Don't expect to do a gourmet meal with what's there but it got us through a week without issue.
Bed's and bathrooms were good.
AC was fabulous.
Luis, who helped me into the apartment was awesome.
Felt very secure there and the beach at night seemed safe as well.
Less than 2 minutes away is a WAL MART and gas station so that was really great.
Pool wrist bands must be worn 24/7. Hello I'm a tourist so rob me..... To be fair, this is a function of the Tides and the apartment owner can't do anything about this.
There are three TV's but NO DVD player.
Open the doors right away, including the entry door to blow the closed up air out. I suspect the AC is turned on just before we arrived so I did this first thing and the apartment was freshened up.
Be sure and wear shoes even if you are going just to the pool. The Tides has a shoe security pool guard and he will chase you down.
WOULD I RENT AGAIN? YES...."
