  • Wonderful place to stay.

"Seaside is fabulous. This was the best beach vacation ever. The cottage was awesome, great access to the beach and to the town square. We walked everywhere. I loved that we did not need to get into the car to enjoy the area. In addition, the location is right near 30A which has many options for dining and shopping east and west. We took the recommendation from the owner and visited the Cafe Tango, about 4 miles west on 30A; it was wonderful - food and atmosphere. Pickles is a great place for burgers and shakes, and the fried pickle spears are a must try. The Shrimp had wonderful steamed shrimp. Great Southern has a blackened fish sandwich that is awesome, as well as, oysters on the halves. We did not like the restaurant that came highly recommended to us, Bud and Ally's I usually like the taste of the seafood more than all the toppings and sauces. It is over priced for not so good food. I would try the B&A pizza bar or the taco bar next time, not the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place for 2 people.. Just a note: If you plan to cook, you may need to take another pan; no problem for us, because we only made toast and coffee for breakfast in the cottage or cooked on the grill one evening. Only thing missing was my complementary bottle of wine and a broom for sweeping."

  • Enjoyed our stay!

"This was visit 10 to Seaside since '09. Each time, I research the heck out of our house options (yes, in a spreadsheet) and look for certain qualities - location relative to shops, restaurants, pool, etc., comfortable areas to relax, proximity of the kitchen to common areas (so I'm not stuck away from the action), price, wifi, TVs, pool/fitness passes, bedroom options, responsiveness of the owner/agency, reviews, etc. This house was right up there with our favorites. We were two 50 somethings and four 20 somethings from the Northeast. There was plenty of room for everyone - sleeping, eating, hanging out, cooking, card playing, games playing. The kitchen had a direct line of sight to the table and the living room beyond that so I could still interact with people from there. It was HOT while we were there and the AC was a welcome relief each time we came back to the house. I was concerned that it would be hot for the person in the loft but he said it was cool up there, too. The master bedroom had a supplementary free standing AC unit which could seem a bit loud, but it was also provided white noise and kept the room cool. Even in the high temps the hammock on the porch was a nice place to relax. Everyone agreed that the beds were VERY comfortable. The proximity to the beach, pool, shops, restaurants, etc., worked well. It was easy for the kids to spend some time at the beach and then walk over to the pool to cool off. (The provided beach towels were convenient.) We walked over to the town center and restaurants many times to shop, eat, do happy hour, stroll through the farmer's market, etc. We eat most of our meals in, so having a good kitchen - not necessarily fancy - is a must. This kitchen was very nice as well as functional. The pots and pans, serving dishes, utensils, tools, etc., were great. They were of good quality and quantity - sometimes equipment is so cheap that you're just burning everything or struggling to chop/cut/peel. Not fun. I really liked that there was a supply of seasonings there and plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc. We used the washer and dryer several times. The dryer was a little quirky, turning off unexpectedly sometimes, but it did its job. Dryer sheets and laundry detergent were there. We had an issue with the TV at first but the owner quickly responded to our questions. There are lots of switches in the living room/dining area and it wasn't easy to tell what went to what. Not a big deal. We'll be back!"

  • Beautiful villa in great location

"Just arrived home from a wonderful stay at villa serena. It had just had a makeover so was even better then we had expected. Located in a clean and quiet gated community close to attractions, restaurants and shops. The pool was fab we made use of it every morning/evening. Pool heat was not needed as was lovely to just cool down. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Communication with the owner was good and she was very helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return in the future."

"This house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Clean, tidy, well appointed with everything needed. Very convenient location for all of the Orlando attractions, restaurants and shopping malls. Nice quiet neighbourhood, mix of residents and vacationers. Roy was very prompt and professional to deal with. We had a great time in this home."
