  • Paradise at Twin Palms

"We spent 5 nights at Twin Palms and wished we had booked for longer. Never booking a private property in the US before we were a little anxious but from first contact with Adele we were put at ease and the pictures of this charming cottage on the VRBO site are a true reflection of what to expect for a completely relaxing holiday. The cottage is well appointed and much more spacious than we thought it would be with plenty of room both indoors and out. Adele, Crit and Greta are so welcoming and easy going, the cottage is well equipped with many extras such as beach chairs, bikes, kayaks all available for guests to use. The location is a 1 minute walk to the main Anna Maria Pier at North Island and also where the free trolley bus picks up and you can ride to the southern tip of this island approximately 1/2 hour each way and discover Holmes Beach, Manatee beach and other places of interest. On our return the first evening to one of the many restaurants within walking distance the private patio to the cottage is lit up with coloured fairy lights and a garden water feature bubbling away makes for an ideal place to sit and read, have a drink and just chill. We are so pleased we stayed here and would highly recommend the cottage, the location and thank you Adele for making the whole booking process easy. We will see you again."

  • VIP Experience

"This property made us all feel like celebrities! Breathtaking views of the bay and the Rod and Reel Pier. Both the interior and exterior were beautiful. The only problem was trying to choose between the relaxing pool/patio area at the front and the stunning ocean views and wildlife at the back. We saw lots of fish, birds, crabs and other sea creatures. We were also treated to several dolphin shows from the patio as they swam by hunting for dinner. The huge sliding doors that can be completely opened to the ocean view were a big plus. We watched the sunrise on the beach in our pj's while drinking coffee every morning and walked the beach to Bean Point for sunset every night. It is a short walk or bike ride to shopping and many amazing restaurants. Definitely a good idea to saunter over to the Rod and Reel Pier for breakfast or to the City Pier for dinner. Definitely plan a visit. You will not regret it!"

  • Paradise Found

"We have been coming to AMI for Memorial Day for years. Our usual place is no longer available which, as it turns out, was a bonus for us because we found this little gem! The House is roomy enough for 4 people, kitchen well-equipped, has extremely comfortable beds and is immaculately clean. The grounds arelike a combo rainforest/golf fairway fronting unspoiled dunes with the spectacular AMI beach beyond. The Owner is next door; most congenial and accommodating, although everything was in perfect order and we didn't need a thing! Planning to return ASAP!"

  • Love AMI!

"The house location is great and an easy walk to the beach! The house itself is a good size for six people and the price is fair compared to others on the island. Wireless worked great. We might suggest more seating in the living room (only seats four). The sofa and chair are terribly uncomfortable and lumpy as the springs poke you when you sit down. The twin beds were uncomfortable and noisy if you moved too much. Only the master bedroom had a TV. We also suggest stocking the house better - an ironing board and clothes basket top the list. We found it really hard to eat at the house with badly chipped plates, only three cereal bowls, only one real drinking glass, skillets are old and the finish is worn off, and no baking dishes."
