  • Enjoying all Anna Maria Island has to offer!

"We visited Anna Maria Island from October 9th to October 14th, 2016 along with siblings and their spouses after attending our nieces wedding in the Brooksville area of Florida. The home was wonderful with more than enough space for all of us. It was clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the elevated closed in deck area off of the dining room, lounging around the pool and spending time viewing all the the herons, egrets and other birds that frequented the property, or nearby properties. John the owner was a pleasure to work with who always responded to any inquiries we had prior to our arrival promptly. We visited all of the beaches on Anna Maria Island and truly enjoyed the differences of each, with the variations in sand and shells that each beach had to offer. Most of all, we enjoyed the quaintness and the non hustle bustle that Anna Maria offered. If you are looking for a quiet, safe vacation home, quaint shops to explore, John's home and Anna Maria Island are the place to be. Thank you John for allowing us to visit your vacation home!"

  • Amazing oasis - heavenly!

"What can we say... this was so perfect. This was the best vacation I've had since my honeymoon in Aruba. My wife, 2 year old daughter, and I stayed here for a week in October 2016. It was one of the best weeks ever. The house was clean, neat, and peaceful. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, both bathrooms were clean and spacious. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. Ceiling fans in all the rooms added to the comfort level. The backyard was incredible. The wall and privacy fence, nicely screened by tropical landscaping, make it feel as if you are swimming in a secluded tropical pool. The two waterfalls into the pool are a delightful element are added much to the ambiance. The pool itself was one of the most pleasant I've ever been in - warm, and inviting. I've never swum in a saltwater pool before, and it was fantastic. The pool was the perfect size for a family fun. Access to the beach was a short walk off Beach Ave. The beach was wonderful - never crowded, covered with shells for us to hunt. We went during the day, and then again after dinner to watch the sunset. Just be careful when you walk home along Gulf Dr - there is a narrow shoulder and the crosswalks aren't well lit. There were pool floats, towels, beach umbrellas, snorkels, a beach wagon, bicycles, a medium cooler, and beach toys in the garage. There was a highchair, and we left behind a toddler potty if anyone cares to use it. The owner David was very friendly and responsive as well. Plan on having to purchase most staples - we needed toilet paper and garbage bags beyond the normal perishables you might expect. (Maybe that's normal? In our limited rental experience, those things have been provided.) Publix is a short distance away, and has just about everything you will need. Honestly the only negative of any significance is that we had to leave. If we could move in here permanently, we would. Simply put, this week exceeded our expectations."

  • Great Birthday Staycation

"My husband booked this last minute for us to escape for my birthday & we were so fortunate to find it open for a couple nights between already booked guests. I have to tell you the pictures just don't do it justice! There seem to have been many updates since these were taken so we were pleasantly surprised. The kitchen has been remodeled to include a granite island style bar with seating for 6 that makes great use of the living space! The bathroom has also been newly renovated to give it a resort spa-like feel. The new lounge chairs around the pool make it comfortable enough to take a little siesta in. The pool area also offers shaded areas which is nice if you don't want to be in the direct sun all day. The beach directly across the street wasn't too crowded & being so close, we were able to leave our things there while we returned to the condo for a quick lunch. The owner was accessible for any questions we had. The keyless entry system was especially nice because we didn't have to bother digging a key out of the beach bag & our teenagers could come and go as necessary without needing to worry about losing it! We highly recommend this little gem & hope to return again soon"

  • Awesome beach house rental on AMI

"This is just a perfect renovated old Florida beach house in a prime location on Anna Maria island. - The owner, Anita, was very nice to us about everything. - The house was cozy, clean, bigger than it looks from the outside pictures (4 bedrooms, 3 baths), and it is stocked with everything needed for a great relaxing vacation on the island. - I really liked that she had beach chairs and towels, and even a wagon to transport them to the beach, which is located right at the end of the block. - The pool is small, but very nice and heated. A great place for an evening swim, or just hanging out drinking coffee in the morning. - The beach area in the nicest I've ever been to. We swam in the ocean multiple times each day, and watched the sunset each evening. We even observed dolphins feeding on a school of smaller fish one afternoon. - The only problem we had was having to leave this beautiful place at the end of the week. John and Linda H."
