  • Wonderful, relaxing stay!

"After taking a day trip last year to Anna Maria Island, we knew we needed to get back there and stay on island. I wasn't sure where I wanted to stay, but needed something economical, clean, and convenient. We decided on Kim's unit and stayed at Coquina Reef #16 for two great weeks this summer. We loved the location of the condo for our family-walking distance to everything including restaurants, stores, mini golf, the pier, and the beach. I traveled with my two school-age sons (hubby stayed back on this trip) and always felt safe and comfortable traveling the area, walking back to the condo after dinner or watching the sunset at the beach, or even an early morning walk on the beach. Working with Kim was very easy, and instructions she provided couldn't have been more clear. The price she quoted was more than fair, and the condo was clean, fully stocked (dishes, towels, sheets, etc.), and the perfect size for our little family. We enjoyed the ability to wash dirty laundry in the unit--no one likes putting on wet, sandy trunks!--as well as cook our own meals to cut down on costs. The pool never had more than two others in it, but mostly was empty for us to enjoy. We loved the small condo complex, and the more intimate setting allowed us to chat with others staying there. We truly enjoyed our time on AMI and at Coquina Reef #16. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise, Kim! We will be back! Schaff Family"

  • the best place I have ever stayed!

"This was the best place I have ever stayed! The pictures don’t do it justice. Inside the house is clean, open, yet offers privacy. Outside it is beautifully landscaped and a peaceful retreat. The atmosphere is ideal for a stay at the beach- which is right down the street-an easy walk to a beautiful beach. The owners Suzann and Frank made sure all our needs were met and were a delight. Knowing this would be the last vacation for my parents I wanted it to be special and it could not have been any better!!"

  • Perfect spot for Thanksgiving getaway

"This charming home delivered on all advertised claims. We were looking for a quieter place on AMI than we stayed in the past and we found it. We hope to return."

  • Another successful return to Anna Maria Island

"As frequent return visitors to Anna Maria Island we had a good knowledge of what the island has to offer, but this location was quite different to our previous visits with its very close proximity to City Pier, being on Pine Avenue, and the Bayou. Thusyou could stroll on the pier, witness beautiful quiet sunrises as an alternative to the sunsets viewed on the western side of the island, good dining alternatives close by, and for the energetic bike and kayak rental virtually on the doorstep. A good selection of shops on Pine Avenue, and of course 'Two Scoops'. Though on this visit the wildlife was less abundant than usual, there was the occasional surprise of a heron popping up at the door, a small group of ibis probing for lunch, and four osprey wheeling in the sky whistling to each other. So, location is excellent The condominium initially seemed compact, but once we had unpacked and got ourselves settled in we found it ideal for us, comfortable, relaxing, and had all that we needed for a good stay. There was a huge amount of storage space, the beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen generally well equipped. Being English and having a liking for a cup of tea meant that the absence of a kettle was a miss. I would have liked to have made greater use of the fishing gear, and on future visits would perhaps rent a kayak to use from the boat dock. If wildlife and energetic recreation is an interest rent a kayak from 'Surferbus' to navigate the waters and see the wildlife on Robinson Preserve. Bookings can be made online at surferbus.com ."
