  • Gorgeous Pool!

"We stayed here the first week of August 2016. There was 3 couples and 3 kids ages 3,5 and 10. The house is so modern and decorated beautifully with a nicely stocked kitchen and comfortable beds like so many other reviewers stated. The pool area is perfect. It has a ledge that is 1/2 foot deep that the younger kids loved to play on and the table in the pool was perfect place to have drinks and watch the Olympics that were on while we were there. Huge basket of beach towels for anyone to use. The walk to the beach was only 2 blocks and there are lots of sand toys, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, bikes, etc. 7 of us could fit around the big table for meals and the 2 little ones loved their special table off by themselves. But we did have a couple of minor issues and one not so minor issue . . . 1. The water heater broke the first day we were there and it took us a couple of days to compare notes and realize that all of us were taking lukewarm showers. The pipes run underground so close to the surface that the water was semi-heated since it was August not ice cold water. Emma tried her absolute best to get service men out there quickly but it was a tank-less water heater and needed both a plumber and electrician to come out. So there was a lot back and forth between the two on the order things needed to be done and we were a lot more involved than we wanted to be on our vacation. It did not get fixed till Thursday (we arrived Saturday prior). We did get compensation but it took a month. 2. The kid's room (with the bunk beds) has a door that leads outside. Of course, all the kids tried to open it and the youngest one ended up sleeping with parents for the week because of the door. I completely missed that detail in the pictures so just be aware. 3. The master bedrooms do not have locks and open directly out into the living room. Our kids loved to open our door when we were getting dressed. 4. One of the master bedrooms has a port hole window looking directly out to the street that does not have any window treatment over it. We ended up just stuffing a blanket in the window to block it. 5. If the waterfall is running in the pool, the pool is not filtering. The waterfall was so pretty and fun to play under but on the Friday of our stay the pool company came by for a check and told us the pool had not been filtering all week. If water overflowing from hot tube, then water is being filtered."

  • Ideal place

"Recently remodeled with granite counters and everything you could possibly need. Absolutely beautiful location. You can watch the sunrise on the back screened in porch over the intercoastal and sunsets across the street on the beach. Once you're there, no need for a car, since you can ride the Anna Maria bus for free. Close to Cortez, so easy to see sites close to Anna Maria in Sarasota/Bradenton area like Ringling museum, etc. lots to see and do in the area. Loved the paved trail across the street ..,great for biking or walking in a shaded area next to the water."

  • The perfect place to stay on Anna Maria Island!

"Wow. We are looking back on our one-week stay at Coconuts as the best vacation of our life. The property exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It was spotlessly clean and located across the street from one of the very best beach access points. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. We felt completely at home which made it so much easier to just relax and enjoy the beach and everything that Anna Maria Island has to offer. We were in easy walking distance to restaurants, parks, playgrounds for the grandkids, and so much more. I cannot think of a single suggestion for the owner. There were even plenty of beach toys for the grandkids and a wagon to haul them to the beach. It was just perfect. We are already making plans to return for another week."

  • Girls trip to Florida

"We stayed at this location and found it to be very clean and up to date with all amenities. It was perfect for 4 people! It was decorated very nice. We enjoyed being able to look at the ocean on our balcony across the street! The weather did not cooperate with us but we were still able to make it fun vacation. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and walk on the beach daily. The street was pretty busy but a traffic light was close and was able to access the beach. Enjoyed outside area, had plenty of chairs and tables to relax and enjoy each others company. Thank you Mike!"
