"The location was beautiful, just steps from an absolutely perfect beach. We watched the sunset every night and they were exceptional, with endless colors, now embedded in our memory. All this from our little table right outside the condo door, with our very own natural landscape of sea grapes, sea oats and other beach vegetation. It was so convenient, and such a privilege, to be able to enjoy the proximity of that beach and those sunsets. I walked the gorgeous beach every day and will always remember it. As far as location on the island goes, it was just right: centrally located on Anna Maria and just the right distance to Bridge Street, Cortez Road, grocery shopping and all other necessary conveniences. Everything was within just a few minutes' drive. Inside the condo, it was home away from home. Very clean. Very comfortable. Very well equipped. An above-average unit with updated, tasteful and pleasant décor. We particularly enjoyed being part of a condo with just a few units. No noise, no crowds, just twelve units: a small community of beachgoers in a pleasantly low profile, unassuming building. The booking process went very smoothly and the owners were great to deal with, checking in by phone to see if we needed anything, but respecting our privacy nonetheless. We are owners of a vacation home we rent to others, and we hold to a high standard for our visitors. Also, we very often rent homes for our own vacations. So, take it from us, this unit is well above par. We would hope to return as soon as the next opportunity arises. Highly recommended. Five stars well deserved."

  • Good value, excellent location!

"Location, location, location! Anna Maria Island is truly a slice of paradise. And this large and comfortable beachhouse is located just two minutes walk from an absolutely fabulous, yet uncrowded, beach. The house is much larger and nicer than the few photos suggest: three big bedrooms and three full baths give plenty of space and privacy. We're a family of five, but the house would be suitable even for six or seven persons. Caveat: you have to walk through one of the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms to get to the master bedroom at the back of the house. Thus the bedroom and bathroom in the middle of the house are not very private (but for our 8 year old son it worked out perfectly). We also loved the well equipped kitchen, the cosy living room and the separate dining area. The house isn't new, but it's clean and nicely redecorated on the inside. The exterior could need some maintenance. There is a back yard, but a nicer place to sit outdoors would be a great advantage. The host Doug was very kind and helpful. When we had a problem getting into the house he was very quick to respond and help us. There are plenty of wonderful houses on Anna Maria Island, and some are certainly more luxurious than this one. But considering the price, this house is really good value, very comfortable even for a big family and an extraordinary location for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Dan & family, Sweden"

  • A little bit of Old Florida paradise!

"We spent three magical weeks at Beach House Resort Condo Unit 8, and we just loved it. Anna Maria Island is touted as "Old" Florida (laid back, devoid of high rises) and it did not disappoint. The beach is just beautiful. We watched amazing sunsets from our balcony. We saw dolphins. We ate at great restaurants. Our favorites were The Harbor Front, Eat Here, Poppo's on Pine St.--- and Ginny and Jane E's and Island Creperie for breakfast. Pine Street is definitely worth exploring. We enjoyed the Olive Oil Outpost and the Donut Experiment. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. We food shopped at Public's on Anna Maria and Fresh Market in Bradenton. We swam, collected shells, took a sunset sail and stargazed at night. We also para sailed and crossed the bridge to jet ski. I was sad to leave! We'll be back."

  • Pleasant surroundings

"This property is just as advertised. Clean, comfortable and good location close to dining, beach and shopping. A great neighborhood for walking. Pool and hot tub are terrific. We had a couple of minor issues , nothing serious at all, and Claire was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. She even helped with a wifi issue as we are not totally computer savvy. I would stay here again."
