  • Sundaze is a superb property! Couldn't ask for more!

"We had a wonderful week at Sundaze! The home is lovely, has everything you need... beach towels and toys and chairs were a nice addition. The walk to the beach is super easy and the beach itself is gorgeous! Loved the island... would highly recommend Duffy's Tavern for delicious (and affordable!) burgers and The Ugly Grouper... great atmosphere and good food. You could walk from the house to either or ride bikes. We rented bikes for the week and loved exploring the island on them... traffic was pretty bad, so it was a lot easier to get around on them than sitting in the car."

  • Blessed Tranquility

"This was a perfect location to unplug for a few days. Once we arrived, the car remained parked in the driveway. The heated pool was surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping with plenty of seating options available on the paver deck. During the day we were able to lounge on the pool deck while the younger crew enjoyed swimming; and in the evening we relaxed around the fire in the chiminea. We were able to grill out every evening on the provided grill (with full propane tank.) The home is located just one block from Pine - a street lined with small shops and eateries and ends at the Anna Maria Island City Pier. More shops and eateries are within walking distance on Gulf. We had amazing breakfasts at Ginny's and Jane e's Cafe (located in the old IGA on Gulf) and the Donut Experiment (on Pine) must be tried at least once. Located only a few steps from the beach, we loved to be able to just walk along the water or sit and watch the water without having to "set up camp." The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, utensils, and cooking implements. Basic paper products were provided - we had brought our own just in case. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh. Tastefully decorated cottage was clean and the perfect size for our needs. The cottage is connected to the main house (which is also available to rent.) We had the place to ourselves the first night, but another family arrived the following afternoon. We enjoyed the extra company, but it may not have been terrific if it had been anyone else - so, that's sort of a gamble. Overall, an wonderful experience - this was our first time using HomeAway, and I was a little hesitant, but any reservations were washed away when we arrived. We are looking forward to our next vacation on AMI."

  • A MOST ENJOYABLE STAY

"The historical cottage is adorable and well equipped. I loved being inside the very comfortable, as well as on the deck, when I wasn't on the beach. It is in a perfect location with a supermarket, Walgreens, hardware store, and many restaurants to choose from. And Libby, the manager, was so very helpful and nice. I highly recommend it!"

  • Great House worth Renting for Families

"This house was great for us. It was 2 couples and 2 toddlers. The walk in closets in two of the rooms (3rd floor master and 2 floor room) had more than enough room for pack'n'plays for the infants. It was also nice that each room had a King bed and its own bathroom. We were able to get by with one gate on the main/2nd floor to keep the kids off the stairs and only needed a few outlet covers. We could have easily had a third couple as well. The bedroom on the 2nd floor has an entrance area to the bedroom with 2 bunk beds that we didn't use, but were nice if we needed. The place was fully stocked with beach and kitchen supplies and was great. The two fridge/freezers and the two sets of washers and dryers helped us immensely. The walk to the beach with two toddlers and all the needed beach equipment was a bit much; it's a good 10 minutes. We adjusted by one of the dads getting up early and parking an SUV with all the beach equipment by the public access and using it as a storage unit for the day. That helped a lot. The pool was great and well shaded most of the day. I would recommend the place for any families or even someone with bad hips/knees who might need an elevator."
