  • Another amazing stay in SW Florida!

"This has been trip #4 in casa Bonita and again, what an amazing stay! The property is perfectly maintained with all the amenities of home. We are always welcomed into our “home away from home” with a basket of goodies with a welcome note letting us know every stay is a special one. The property is located less than 2 minutes from Coconut Point shopping complex, less than 10 minutes from Miromar Outlets and less than 15 minutes from Fort Myers International Airport. The selling point for us as “cool Canadians” “cool” being the operative word here is we are 10 short minutes away from some of the best beaches SW Florida has to offer. We also love being able to explore other parts of Florida and have travelled to Orlando in less than 3 hours and to Miami and Tampa in less than 2 hours. In our travels around Bonita Springs, we discovered Sweet Odin’s bakery as well as Sweetwater water tours and quickly became regulars to both locally owned businesses as Odin's offers some of the best homemade baked goods around and Sweetwater jet ski tours are amazing!! We can’t say enough about the property but know the best compliment to its owners is our vacations keep getting longer and longer every year! Hope to be back for vacation #5 next year!!"

  • Hope to return soon

"The pictures looked good but mostly we rented for the proximity to our friends who had recently moved nearby. We loved our little beach cottage. It was clean and adequately furnished. In Iowa the kitchen is the "heart of the home" and this one was beautiful! Roomy enough for several people to work and and a great counter height granite bar with numerous seating that wraps around the kitchen making entertaining perfect! There is also a small outdoor entryway/courtyard that is a perfect place to store all your sandy beach gear. It's located one block off the main " beach "drag so everything is nearby yet it's very quiet. There is an outdoor patio with table and gas grill. (Ok, the backyard turf is not in great shape, it's bit scraggly but that didn't matter to us. There is a pond with some fish. ) I really don't understand the previous "not good" review as we found none of those deficiencies. We found the owners Drew & Mia very friendly and accommodating. My message to all renters, should you have a problem or concern, contact the owner and give them a chance to resolve any issues. We enjoyed our stay in Bonita Springs and hope to return and stay at this property."

  • Impressive Location

"We spent 3 weeks at the property and loved the location. The view from the porch is top notch and the pool is a nice treat - larger than expected. The pictures of the property are right on the money. The front view is misleading only in the sense that it doesn't provide a good indication of how large the house actually is. House has a nice layout, furniture that is in good shape, and there are plenty of seating options. Saw Dolphins pretty much every day, with one in particular that liked to do runs down the seawall creating lots of waves. There is boat rental place not too far from the house (easily walkable) that was good to work with. My son and I were able to pick up the boat and then dock it at the house to pick up the rest of the group. We had a great day on Estero Bay watching the wildlife and eating lunch at Flippers. The house was clean and the caretaker was very helpful. I would certainly recommend the house to friends and relatives. In fact, we had relatives down for the third week and they loved it. Our grandson (11) really enjoyed the pool and all the activities in the area. There are many good restaurants not far from the house (e.g. Flippers, Fresh Catch Bistro, South Beach, Table Apart, and the Bayfront Bistro, among others). Lots to do in the area (e.g. boating, fishing, wildlife preserves, swimming, beaches, of course, and theater)."

  • Great Value for this Lovely Spacious home .

"Our family of 5 adults and one enfant recently spent a wonderful week at this lovely property in early May. As noted by other reviewers, the pool is a generous size. We particularly liked the walk-in steps and the deep end which made swimming that much more enjoyable. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your vacation at the home, or at the beach...there even was a playpen which was better for our granddaughter than the travel one we brought. Bikes were included as well. We especially enjoyed the use of the garage which was great to keep our car cool on hot days. There is a convenient pass-through from the kitchen to the patio which made dining outside very convenient. We loved the location because it was on a lovely quiet street and convenient to everything. Stores were within walking distance. One day we saw six Ibis strolling through the boulevard. Barefoot Beach was only 10 minute drive away. We saw a number of large tortoises along the road there which was a great surprise. There was lots of seating available both inside and out of this spacious property including down by the canal where we watched the jumping fish and turtles. The owners were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. They even called us in advance to give us a "heads-up"of a service visit for pool maintenance. We definitely would love to come back next year."
