  • Lovely Ringling Cottage very close (walk) to beach and St Armand's circle

"We had the opportunity to stay at one of the few authentic Ringling Cottages on Lido Key. The location was great for walks on the beach (<150yds) and walks to the lively St Armands Circle where you can find shops and restaurants. The cottage is ideally located if you'd like to bike the key. We enjoyed a full day's outing to the Circus Museum and Ringling House (both must-see) and many of the restaurants scattered along the length of Lido/Longboat Keys. We felt very welcomed by the owner and would recommend this property / return to this property. If you are looking for a place to enjoy the weather, beach, and ambiance of the Sunshine State (we did leave cold weather to enjoy), then you'll enjoy this property."

  • Great place to stay and we will return

"This property is located on the quiet south end of the beach, about 5 miles south from the downtown Times Square area. I would have given our condo 5 stars except for the fact repairs were being done on building C and our balcony was locked and not available for use. Even though this was a big bummer Judy was sympathetic to our plight, you couldn't ask for a better condo owner!! When you go, definitely check out the Trolley. A three day pass is only $4.00 per person and makes travel to Time Square a breeze. Trolley's run about every 15-20 minutes and beats trying to find and pay for a place to park. If you like a quiet location with a beautiful beach this is the place for you! If you plan to do any cooking be advised that only salt and pepper are provided. This was a bit of a bummer and put a damper on our intent to cook a few meals in the condo. A small spice rack would be a great addition. Also be aware the swimming pool closes at 7:30. A couple nights we would have liked to hang out later but it wasn't a big deal. if you walk north on the beach there is a bar/restaurant called Pincher's located just a few properties away. It has an outside bar and is a great place for drink or two. Skye's cafe across the street in Santeni Plaza is a great place for an inexpensive breakfast and there is a deli in the same plaza that makes great sandwiches."

  • A Very Nice Place to Visit

"We stayed at this villa during the first week of July. We were extremely pleased with the value of the property for what we paid. It could not have been nicer for that price. The area is surrounded by a huge shopping mall only 6 blocks away yet we never heard any noise whatsoever. You would think you were in the country it was so quiet here. There are many food options within ten minutes and you are only two minutes from the Tamiami Trail. The beautiful white sand public beach is only ten minutes away and because of the way Sarasota is laid out, you can get about anywhere very quickly. We had a very pleasant week what with the beach and baseball, etc. and hope to return. All transactions were handled very promptly and professionally. It could not have been easier or more pleasant. We highly recommend this villa for any guests to the Sarasota area. Thank you again for the opportunity!!"
