  • Amazing stay on North Captiva!

"My wife, our three children and I had the most wonderful stay at Stardance. This home is just incredible. It is beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely well-stocked and appointed. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. It is located on the north part of the island, which seemed to be quieter. It has breezy decks on two floors (some parts screened-in) and a platform on the roof with fabulous views. Nothing is missing and everything is very well-thought-out. You get the adventurous feeling of vacationing on North Captiva with luxurious accommodations (comfortable beds, inviting and spacious layout, high-end kitchen, dual air conditioning, private pool, cable with all premium channels, two grills, two golf carts, hammock, games, and much more). The owners, Charlie and Suzanne, were so kind and very helpful. They gave us a lot of valuable hints on how to prepare for a vacation on North Captiva. It was hard to leave for everybody. We had such a memorable stay. We will have to come back! Of course, I would very highly recommend this home to anyone planning a vacation on North Captiva."

  • Perfect location!

"Our first year staying at Seahorse Crossing was fabulous! We have been coming to Anna Maria for 9 years, and this is one of the best little cottages we have stayed at. Great little place for our family of four(2 adults, 2 teens) plus our two fur babies(loved the fenced back yard!) to stay. The house was stocked very nicely, from kitchen to linens to beach supplies! Location was perfect! (30 sec walk and you are in the Gulf waters!) Shopping and dining just a short walk away. Located at a dead end street sure cut down on traffic compared to so many other place we have stayed. We did have a small issue with one of the air conditioners BUT, the team jumped into action and took care of it quickly! Big thanks to all involved that day. We look forward to renting again in the future for sure. You can't go wrong with Seahorse Crossing!"

  • Heaven on Earth

"We spent 45 days enjoying this rental and the beautiful island of Anna Maria. This rental is in a perfect location on the island within walking distance to the beautiful beach, piers, restaurants, and shopping. It is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The rental has everything you could possibly need during your stay. It is bright, cheery and very comfortable. We loved the private pool area. We enjoyed meeting Sue Ann, she was gracious and so accommodating. We plan to return!"

  • The Perfect Beachfront Condo

"It's a good day when the only thing you have to worry about is finding the perfect seashell. We enjoyed every minute of our 3 night stay at this perfectly situated corner condo. I was reluctant to believe the view shown in the pictures and honestly thought there may have been some photo shopping done to enhance the view, but I was proven wrong as soon as we stepped in the front door. The view is actually more beautiful than what is shown in the photos. The mornings spent drinking coffee on the breezy lanai was the perfect start to each day and my 2 boys (ages 13 and 9) had a blast playing in the waves, combing the beach for seashells and shark teeth and diving for sand dollars on the sandbar. The club pool is clean and steps away when you need a break from the sea. We loved the easy accessibility of the condo from the beach when we wanted to come in for lunch and would spend our evenings on the lanai watching the most beautiful sunsets. It's turtle nesting season so lights around the units were minimal, which allowed for great stargazing at night. The beds were very comfortable and we were lulled to sleep each night listening to the waves as you can hear them from the master bedroom. The condo is clean, well appointed and all the needed amenities are provided in order to provide a most comfortable stay. Beach towels are provided for the guests in the condo and the club attendants helped set up beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach on 2 of our days. The third day, we moved the chairs/umbrellas on our own. It was very quiet, maybe 8 families total spread out along the mile long stretch of beach we were on. My husband used the fitness facility and felt it was sufficient for his particular work out. Mack was most helpful in the abundance of information he provided about the condo, the club and the island both before our arrival and provided in the condo. We purchased our groceries at the Publix about a mile off island before we arrived and were greeted with a nice bottle of wine, a bag of Starbucks coffee and smoked almonds to enjoy during our stay. Mack even checked on us during our stay to be sure the accommodations were comfortable and make himself available if we had any questions. We did dine at Temptations one evening and had a great homemade ice cream cone at the Loose Caboose one afternoon. There is a $6 per car toll to access the island. The town is quaint and quiet during this time of year, just like we prefer, and we look forward to a return!"
