  • The Best!!

"I've been coming out to Manasota Key for the past twenty years and this is, and will forever be, my favorite place to stay. I simply cannot say enough about this house. Sitting on the back porch literally places you a thirty-second walk to an extremely private beach. What is even better is that the house is pet friendly and has a huge backyard!!! This is not your typical vacation rental. The owners have put a lot of love into this house and it shows, from the decorations to the pictures scattered throughout the house. It doesn't feel like you're staying in someone else's home... it feels like your own home while you're on vacation. Do yourself a favor and stay in this beautiful beach house. You will not regret it!!!"

  • Amazing Vacation

"My husband and myself with also my sister and her husband spent one beautiful week in this condo. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and had high hopes for the week and we were not disappointed! Besides getting the perfect weather all week the condo was Amazing. For 2 couples the way the bedrooms and baths are laid out we both had our areas and privacy, it was very clean (and I am picky!), and the building was in a great location to the Marriott. The kitchen was large, updated appliances, and everything you needed. The living area was very roomy but we didn't spend much time there, we were out on the large patio overlooking the water and pool. We enjoyed the views and sunsets and all the boats going by on waterway right in front. Our pool was defiantly heated which made it so enjoyable to just jump in and cool off, it was also well maintained and a large hot tub to enjoy later in the day or evening. There is a large pier that they allow fishing from and also a bait shop right there. Our condo supplied us with very nice poles that the men used and we had fresh fish for dinner several nights. Also, when we went to Captiva Island for the day the condo also had chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for our use, those were some of the extras that really came in handy. MaryAnn and Scott the rental managers was extremely helpful and easy to talk to, also was Meri the owner. I recommend this place and hope to go back soon!"

  • Amazing location with beautiful pool and lanai

"What a great place to spend the month of November! And the amazing weather this year allowed us to use the pool every day - a real treat. While the house is well appointed and comfy, it is the outside lanai with pool and hot tub that rates this property as exceptional. The view of the pond and its wildlife, complete with alligator, is tranquil. The transferable golf membership is more than a plus given the 27 hole course is around the corner: The River Strand golf courses are a beautiful challenge! We did have to call the management company regarding the Internet - their response was immediate and the problem sorted out. Great choice of restaurants in Lakewood Ranch and UTC - highly recommend Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine. The beaches on Anna Maria Island are a great place to spend a day. After shopping (or just browsing) at Ellenton Mall, enjoy a great Margarita at Woodys River Roo overlooking the Manatee River. With Tampa only a 45 minute drive away it's easy to go to a Bucks game (and watch them lose again). Overall, an excellent home away from home, but don't look to go next November, we've already booked it!"

  • Tropical paradise

"My husband and I just spent 5 days at this home on the island. The first 3 days it rained but it was a blessing in disguise. It gave us time to really wind down and relax. It didn't rain hard so we ere still able to get out. One thing I say is a must is to rent a golf cart from Derek. He was super nice. We would have been lost with out our cart. It was so much fun exploring the island by golf cart. We saw turtles and armadillos while riding. On the sunny days we went to the beach and found many, many sharks teeth. We only left our stay a few days early so we could see more of the coast on our way home. I would say this was quite an adventure we had and we loved every minute. Especially the hammock on the porch!!"
