  • The Benchmark for Villa rental

"My wife and I booked Wisspering Palms to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and certainly had a wonderful time to remember. The term "Home from Home " is often overused in reviews, but this time it fits the Villa perfectly. The little touches, like the different room styles, the chess set, and the printer with paper, all added to feeling of a home rather than a sterile rental property. The comforts are first class, beds, lounge and "Den" inside, the lanai with pool, loungers and most importantly the Hot Tub,which was excellent for the old back, outside. Tom always felt approachable and friendly, from the booking, through to the minor question we had on arrival. Tom Supplied a comprehensive list of instructions and local places to visit and eat. This being our fourth holiday in Cape Coral, we could spend the days relaxing at the villa, watching the fish jump. the boats sailing on the canal and the wildlife, without the need to rush off and sight see, that said a couple of visits to Sanibel for the sunset is always required. Thank you Tom for sharing your wonderful home with us and made our special occasion that bit more special."

  • Perfect for Family Gatherings

"I was so lucky to find this vacation rental for a long weekend. My family, which consists of five adults and two boys under the age of three, had a great time staying at Mariner's Landing. The uniquely shaped pool was the highlight of the house, with a very deep end for the adults, and a nearby shade-cover for resting near the shallow end while the kids played. The shape allowed everyone to talk and feel together. Surrounded by lush green and the canal, the house has all windows on that side. I had work to do and sat at the kitchen island and could see the family playing in the pool. There were plenty of pool toys and large towels to use, and a tiled-bathroom on the lanai so you didn't have to dry off or traipse water inside. The house is a one story that is a bit unusual in floor plan/seating arrangements, but it really works for a large family or multiple couples. Our little toddler loved riding his trike around the large kitchen island while we prepared dinner. We had large family dinners around the large table in the kitchen area (avoiding the family heirloom formal dinning area). The furniture was of nice quality, but not too formal, which is perfect with little ones. As others have stated there are plenty of condiments in the house in case you forgot something (which we did), and the grocery is close by the house. My husband and I enjoyed the split floor plan, since the master suite was on the other side of the house from the kids and grand-kids. Everyone said they slept great, good quality beds, and nice-sized rooms. Janice, the owner, is very accommodating and generally wants you to enjoy her home. She has property managers in the area, and they stopped by to make sure everything was well. Our daughter and her family arrived into the area earlier than expected, and Janice allowed them early entry into the house which was so helpful so the boys could nap. We received our deposit, paid in full, in less than a week. If we are ever in the area again we would stay there, but longer and utilize the boat."

  • Excellent vacation

"We can't believe that it is only just over a week since we arrived back in England. We still keep talking about how wonderful our holiday was. The house was easy to find and was exactly what we expected. It was exceptionally clean. It even seemed clean at the end of our stay! The house manager and the handyman were both friendly and gave us tips on places to eat and things to do. We couldn't fault anything and loved staying there. Even the weather was good to us apart from the odd thunderstorm that we know to expect in Florida in August. Having two teenage sons the internet was important and didn't let us down unlike in some properties we have rented before. Overall a great place to stay."

  • Very comfortable, welcoming home

"We enjoyed our stay at Alcedonia very much. The pool was lovely, we especially enjoyed all of the mosaic sea creatures on the bottom and sides. The house was very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The fenced in yard was terrific for our dog and the landscaping is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The location is terrific, quiet street and neighborhood but very near restaurants."
