  • On the Island of Venice.

"The home was exactly as described. We were very pleased with the appearance, the cleanliness and especially the very comfortable bed. The home was located close to town, library and supermarkets. Even though Harbor Drive has light traffic, we hardly heard it when in the house. The house was furnished with everything needed. Memos were sent reminding us of mail pick up. We were very pleased with our accommodations and would highly recommend this place. Also, since the house is a duplex we never heard any of th occupants from next door during our month visit."

  • Wonderful Experience

"We (husband & wife) stayed at Avalon for March 2016. The condo is clean, comfortable, quiet, well maintained, very well equipped and in a great location. The owner is very accommodating and could not be easier to deal with. The condo nominally sleeps 4 but we were able to easily accommodate our visiting daughter and 2 granddaughters for a total of 5. The kitchen has everything needed for a gourmet cook, but who wants to cook when there are so many great restaurants nearby. Avalon has one of the most desirable locations in Pelican Bay, close to the tram station for access to the beach and close to the shopping area at Vanderbilt Blvd; an easy walk to either. The kids loved both the Pelican Bay beaches and the Avalon pool. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will be back again."

  • Summer 2016 Vacation

"Our family stayed in this home for a week. It was a beautiful home. It was extremely close to the beach access, about 3-5 min walk. The home was very clean and spacious. Pool area was nice, outside pool furniture was in great condition. My son spent a lot of time in pool, if we weren't at the beach. It was close to everything that you need. Winn Dixie was very close by, along with a good pizza place, Italian Deli, next to Joey's Pizza. We would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in the Marco Island area. We would definitely return."

  • Great place to stay and we will return

"This property is located on the quiet south end of the beach, about 5 miles south from the downtown Times Square area. I would have given our condo 5 stars except for the fact repairs were being done on building C and our balcony was locked and not available for use. Even though this was a big bummer Judy was sympathetic to our plight, you couldn't ask for a better condo owner!! When you go, definitely check out the Trolley. A three day pass is only $4.00 per person and makes travel to Time Square a breeze. Trolley's run about every 15-20 minutes and beats trying to find and pay for a place to park. If you like a quiet location with a beautiful beach this is the place for you! If you plan to do any cooking be advised that only salt and pepper are provided. This was a bit of a bummer and put a damper on our intent to cook a few meals in the condo. A small spice rack would be a great addition. Also be aware the swimming pool closes at 7:30. A couple nights we would have liked to hang out later but it wasn't a big deal. if you walk north on the beach there is a bar/restaurant called Pincher's located just a few properties away. It has an outside bar and is a great place for drink or two. Skye's cafe across the street in Santeni Plaza is a great place for an inexpensive breakfast and there is a deli in the same plaza that makes great sandwiches."
