  • Perfect place for a family holiday

"We wanted a reasonably priced holiday let for a family of four that was close to great beaches and that is what we got and more! From our initial booking, Chuck the owner, was very helpful and replied to all enquiries immediately. Arrival was smooth and efficient followed up by a courtesy call from Chuck to check all was well. The townhouse is deceptively more spacious inside with plenty of room for four adults. It is really well equipped, clean and nicely decorated throughout with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The two bedrooms were large and roomy, clean and comfortable. The location is just perfect on the island, very close to the beach and local shops, the trolley bus route runs close by which we hopped on regularly to get to the city pier. When we did have one minor problem with the tumbler dryer it was sorted straight away. Having walked around the island and its beaches we were delighted to find that our local beach on 52nd Street was simply outstanding- quiet, clean and had miles of soft white sand! We had an idyllic 23 nights stay in the town house and will definitely stay here again when we return to Anna Maria Island."

  • GREAT VACATION SPOT!

"We were very pleased with our stay in this home. We arrived to find the home very clean and well equipped. The pool and hot tub were awesome to have--we experienced a lot of jelly fish at the beach a couple of days but no worries we just went back to our own private pool to relax! The area was very quiet as a matter of fact we only seen a couple of other people on the street the entire week! If you are looking for a lot of excitement and entertainment this may not be the place for you. Possibly it was the time of year we visited. We are more on vacation to relax so it was perfect for us. The Sunset Grill was a great place to watch the sunset and the food was delicious. I would not recommend Tiger Tail Beach unless you are REALLY interested in the wildlife. Going across the lagoon was a little more than we bargained for and then the beach was very disappointing when we got there. :( Certainly would not take children. We visited Marco Beach South every day, it was clean and quiet. The parking is only $8.00 per day and well worth it. My husband had gotten his Florida fishing license and did try fishing from the dock almost every evening---no luck but he enjoyed trying, we were a little disappointed as to have not seen any dolphins in the canal but were lucky to spot them at the beach almost daily. Even got a glimpse of a baby stingray close to shore . Thanks for letting us enjoy your home and we hope to visit again in the future! I would recommend this location to my friends and family looking for a low key, great getaway ."

  • Wish we could have stayed longer!!

"This was our first time staying at LGI and our family of four (8yo & 4yo) loved every moment of it!! Tom was always very quick to respond when planning our visit and at one point during our stay when we needed to reach him. We chose the villa because it included the dock for our boat as well as a golf cart to explore the island. Even though the beach and the docks were within walking distance we all had so much fun on the golf cart. We went out on our boat fishing everyday and saw lots of dolphins, manatees, stingrays and even sharks. One afternoon while we were at the beach a manatee came right up to us and a group of people allowing us to pet it. It literally kept bumping into us and sticking its nose out to check us all out. Our kids will forever have this special memory! It was the coolest thing ever! The villa wasn't anything fancy but we weren't looking for fancy. It had everything we needed and there were even some spices and condiments left from previous guests which came in handy. We didn't really watch TV but there were several DVDs, there was also a nice selection of board games in the guest closet which we did use during the afternoon thunderstorms. If I had to think of anything negative I would say that the master bedroom mattress was too firm for me but that's just my personal preference. By the end of each day we were so worn out that it didn't really matter. We took this trip to get away from everyday stresses and just enjoy nature as a family and we did just that. We made so many family memories and already want to go back!!"

  • WOW!!!!!

"We LOVE vacationing to Siesta Key and LOVE staying at this unit at the Seashell. We've stayed at Peppertree Bay, Aloha Kai and some others on the north side of the beach and can honestly say Seashell is the BEST and we won't stay anywhere else now! It's on the south side of Crescent Beach which is always very quiet and not as crowded compared to the bigger buildings and public beach. It's just steps away from Captain Curts (which has THE BEST clam chowder in the U.S.!) a grocery store, ice cream, bike rentals, nice souvineer shop, and a couple cute little bars along with quick and easy access to the main land with minimal traffic. I've been staying at this particular unit every year since 2007 before I had kids. Now we have 3 kids and it is still just as perfect and accommodates us all perfectly! This unit is on the 2nd floor which is nice for the young kids. It also has an elevator for the stroller which there is never any wait for it. The grounds are always beautifully kept and all of the maintenece and front desk people that we have seen/met are very warm and friendly. This unit is always clean and you can tell the owners take great pride because it is beautifully decorated, updated and fresh looking. It is right on the beach with a keyed gate that only people staying at Seashell have access to, so very private feeling. All in all, it's literally the best and we will continue to come back every year!"
