  • It was exactly as it was advertised

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the house. The house was just as it was advertised. Mike is a great owner and was only a text or phone call away if I had a question. He did everything he could to make our visit exceptional...and he succeeded! The house was very roomy. Will sleep at least 8 people comfortably. The house is located very close to great food, shopping, Banks, grocery stores, and Walmart and many other places The pool was great and the kids really enjoyed it! Overall we were very satisfied and don't have any negative things to say about the house or the owner (Mike). Thank you for a very nice, relaxing vacation Mike!"

  • Excellent Property

"We had a very relaxing two week holiday at this property. This is the third time we rent in the area and Martin's place was just perfect. The house has everything you need to spend a great vacation, and more. The pool is not only a pool: it's bigger than the average. The water views are vey open because of the intersecting canals. The living area has the added luxury of the hiding sliding doors, so in the evenings the whole house becomes one with the open lanai. The layout of the house is one of the best I've seen. It's very open and it feels really comfortable, even for 6 people. We would love to come back next year. Thanks Martin for letting us rent your lovely home."

  • 410 Lyons Bay Road, Nikons, Florida

"This was our first experience renting a property rather than a motel. This wonderful completely furnished cottage was perfect in everyway. It is very clean and equipped with everything you could need. My wife enjoyed cooking in the totally equipped kitchen and serving in a nice dinning room or outside in the lanai or on the huge deck. It had everything from numerious board games to bicycles and fishing equipment in the garage. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood which is close to many restaurants, beaches, the intercoastal waterway all within 5 minutes driving distance. This cottage exceed all our expectations. Our biggest surprise was how close we were to everything from a supermarket to great beaches and restaurants. Steve was easy to contact and work with. His neighbors were nice and we even borrowed some flour from one. We were feeling at home there. Steve obviously has a lot of pride in his property. After this experience, we will not be staying in a motel when we visit our grandchildren. First on our list will be Steve's property, if it is available. Thank you Steve for making our stay one to remember. Walter"

  • Perfect getaway and outstanding host!

"We just spent a wonderful month (March 2016) at this Iona home! The house is clean, attractive, has a beautiful view looking down the canal to the river & is well equipped with everything you need. You just need to bring your clothes & personal care items. The location is ideal; in a residential neighborhood close to grocery store, restaurants, outlet stores, pharmacy etc. We particularly liked eating out at the nearby Cape Cod Fish Co. The salmon BLT is great! Good barbecue at the Hickory Bar-B-Q down the road. We also found a good fish market - Beach Seafood Market on San Carlos Blvd. The staff is very helpful & the black fin snapper we brought home to cook was excellent. It is a short drive to Ft. Meyers Beach & Sanibel Island. If you go to Sanibel, don't miss Ding Darling Nature Preserve if you enjoy seeing the local wildlife, great views & lots of birds. The owner, Jim, is easy to contact and responds quickly to any question or need you may have. The washer died one afternoon (stuff happens!); we contacted Jim and within 2 hours the handyman was there; took care of the old washer & installed a brand new washing machine. My wet clothes hadn't even dried yet! All & all we had a great time, wonderful weather & came home relaxed & grateful for a fabulous vacation!"
