  • Excellent Choice

"Stayed here for a long girls' weekend getaway. Many exceptional details you don't normally get with a rental property, including the bamboo sheets and towels. Our elderly companion appreciated the shower grab bars. Jim very helpful and knowledgeable. We only wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return again. Easy access to beach, couldn't get any closer! Very clean and organized. We found the area easy to navigate to groceries and restaurants, etc. Would recommend having a car but not necessary, Jim can recommend other modes of getting around. Quiet and relaxing, we had a great time. Beach is as beautiful as described."

  • Ready to go back and we just got home!

"My family, including a 2 yr old and a 9 yr old had a great time! Such a lovely, clean house with incredible views. You needn't bring a thing besides a bathing suit and sunglasses! All the amenities you could need from bikes and yaks to beach toys and life jackets! We kayak fished all week (we brought two of our own but found that next time there will be no need). We had great fishing around the docks and on Jug Creek. Lots of snapper, sea trout, snook (was out of season though) and redfish. Had a shark, some dolphins and manatees right next to me in the kayak. We took day trips to Cayo Costa, Captiva and Sanibel (Ding Darling - great fishing there as well with all the above species and a sheeps head!) We will be back for sure!! Just such a great place to kickback and chill!"

  • Paradise

"The villa is set in a quiet neighbourhood and has one of the most picturesque back gardens in Florida. The villa is well equipped and well presented. We used the bikes to cylce the legacy trail and also used the golf clubs for a round at Calusa Lakes golf club. The large pool was also well used to cool us down after a day out. The area itself has many restaurants and eating places. We particularly like the Crow's nest down in Venice. Venice itself is a quiet town but you can amble around downtown at night. The gelato shop has really good ice cream! Sarasota and St Armands Circle are only half an hour away. The Ringling Museum in Sarasota and the Edison h House at Fort Myers are worth a visit. We also went to Myaka State Park where we went looking for 'Gators on the "worlds largest airboat" We also hired bikes and did a bit of cycling."

  • 2016 Christmas-New Year's Getaway

"My girlfriend and I stayed in this beautiful 7TH floor studio apartment over the 2015-16 Holidays. We rode bikes to the State Park across the street, fished, sunbathed, shelled and took romantic sunset walks on the beach (across the street!). Doc’s restaurant was within walking distance and a little family-owned Mexican restaurant, as well as Coconut Jack’s, were just a short drive up the street. The New Year's Eve fireworks on the beach, from our private screened-in patio, were awesome with an unobstructed view up and down the beach! Everything in the apartment was clean, crisp, tastefully decorated and next to new. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing Holiday vacation and we would highly recommend it to relax, decompress and get-away!"
