  • Great time at Midnight Cove

"Very nice condo, super clean and excellent location. A few steps to pool and beach. Nicely decorated. We had a great family time. Mrs. Davis was very nice and easy to reach. The staff at Midnight Cove are very courteous. Thanks for a great time!"

  • Spring Break 2016

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice amenities, house is deceptively large, has nice open eating area that seats 15, kitchen is well equipped,Blender, mixer, cakepan, lobsterpot, coffeemaker, limited storage containers, and we added silverware, etc. Large side by side refrig with filtered water. House had been prepped when we arrived. Some (appeared unopened) food in refrig/freezer and pantry which we left. Used the grill 1 night and worked fine. Pool/spa heater was not working, but called the pool guy and he came the next morning and all good after that. The bikes were much appreciated, as it was about a 15+ minute walk to the beach. kitchen soap, etc was apprec, even though we brought our own. Washer and Dryer were handy for mid week clean up. limited dish TV choices and is the same channel in living room and mstr bedroom, WIFI worked fine. Big dogs on both sides barked at each other, but not bad. Nice and functional overall."

  • Great Condo with Gulf View

"September 2016 - Our first time using Home Away and didn't know what to expect. We were totally pleased with the condo and the view of the Gulf. The condo was very clean and tidy. It had basically every thing you need to make you feel at home. there was even Beach chairs and umbrellas to use at beach which made it nice not having to bring ours. Bill the owner was awesome to work with and very responsive. The building was secure! There was a couple of things that wasn't a show stopper but felt i needed to mention. During the week in september we were there, they had construction going on, on the building we were at. luckily it was on the side and back of the building from us. It was noisy at times but nothing we couldn't handle. Also, the construction people held up the elevators when we were out one day and there was no other way into the building. I tried calling the emergency number provided to us in our room but no one answered and there was no voice mail option. We were stuck out of the building for a little while until we were able to get them to let elevators down. I kind of wish we had notice of the construction on the building prior to our trip so we could have been prepared. The view of the gulf is awesome from the balcony. Nice to relax and watch the birds and dolphins. The beach in front of the condo is not easy to get to. You have to trek through water to get to it bu its great for shell hunting but not for laying out. We loaded up car and drove about 1/2 mile to beach access area for a better beach experience. Which we didn't mind.. parking was good this time of year but may be a little tricky in busier times. Overall we were please and enjoyed our stay . We plan to do it again.. Thanks.."

  • Perfect Balance of Siesta Sunshine and Seclusion.

"This condo was 2 weeks of tranquility with the option of a perfect pool or a beautiful beach. Facing the bay-side with the curvaceous canal and a few boats or simply walking across the street (crosswalk) and using the private beach access was our biggest daily dilemma. Crescent beach is less hectic than the main Siesta beach with those azul waters has the best white quartz sand in the world. The quiet pool is heated and supplied with comfy loungers. The beach was our favourite spot but the pool came a close second. When we did want to go to a restaurant, store, or bar, Crescent beach did not disappoint; it was all within walking distance. There were some hidden gems in Crescent beach too. Siesta Village was a little hike but it is also noisy. However, SKOB was our favourite bar for drinks and oysters. Undoubtedly this was a perfect choice for us and my senior father who preferred to relax around the fully-equipped condo--a perfect balance. We felt appreciated staying here too--it felt like our own vacation home...real cozy. Will definitely return!"
