  • You will LOVE this home!!

"I can not say enough about how awesome this home is! It has everything a vacationer would want and need to enjoy themselves. My husband and I rented Absentminded for a family celebration of our 40th anniversary. There were 10 people, including my 2 young grandsons. This home had something for everyone and we all had a fantastic time. The owner and the management company work so well together and quickly took care of one small problem we ran into. We were all so impressed with the property and with the entire first experience with Homeaway. I have already booked another rental with the company!"

  • A Recurring FAV

"This home was totally upgraded by 2015, All new TVs, Bedding, etc. even has a Keurig, replaced old carpet with new Tile and area rugs. Awesome Pool/hot-tub, easy 2-blocks to town center, and a stroll of 4-houses to private beach. There's nature everywhere from turtles to manatee to dolphins and osprey. The spacious 4BR/4BA is on a single level - no stairs! Perfect for families, including elderly members. This is becoming a home away from home for us anyway."

  • Wonderful home in a quiet Captiva neighborhood

"We had such a wonderful time staying in this home! Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 children, and we all loved this house. It was furnished very comfortably and had a very beachy feel, which we love. We cooked a lot of meals at home and found the kitchen had everything we needed. I loved having a washer and dryer in the house, as well as the outdoor shower for rinsing off sand and salt water. We usually stay on Sanibel, this was our first time staying on Captiva, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. We spent a lot of time relaxing in my favorite spot, the large lanai, and my husband and son played catch in the grassy yard. The neighborhood has a very nice pool, tennis courts, gas grills, and a wonderful boardwalk to the ocean. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the house. The location could not be better-we walked to The Mucky Duck, RC Otters, and Cantina Captiva for several meals. We watched the sunsets nightly from the beach and saw more dolphins playing in the shallow surf on this trip than all my previous visits to the islands combined! We also had a great "front row" seat from the beach for Tween Waters Inn's annual firework show, which was amazing. We drove over to Sanibel for several meals (Sanibel Fish House is our absolute favorite) and shopping, and hiked the on Bailey Tract, where we normally catch a glimpse of an alligator. This time, however, a Florida bobcat walked right out onto the trail in front of us! Owner Ginny was very receptive and answered any questions promptly. We will definitely stay here again!"

  • Beautiful home!!

"This was our second stay in this home, and we will definitely be back again! The wood floors have been replaced and the linens were new and very comfortable in the master bedroom. The pool and hot tub area are the focal point of the home and we spent many wonderful hours there playing our kids and catching up with family. The elevator, along with the proximity to the beach, library, and town were HUGE conveniences. Everything worked perfectly for us all week and we found the home to be very clean upon our check in."
