  • Awesome

"We had an amazing time in this Captiva Cottage. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. Happy hour everyday at the very private pool with shade for those who wanted it and sun for others. Sunset on the beach just minutes away (across the street) was a nice evening adventure, what can I say about the shells except WOW! They might say Sanibel is the sea shell capital but I don't think shelling can get much better than here at Captiva. Our favorite restaraunt is Mucky Duck just a couple of miles away, A real plus door us was the screened in lanai. Great place to play board games in the evening. I have already booked for next year. Thanks Margarethe for making the cottage so special."

  • Trip of a lifetime

"A wonderful week spent celebrating 50th anniversary. The home is all that it says, the dock for fishing and pool were in constant use. the beach is wonderful. the kitchen is stocked with every need. our family relaxed on the porches, played games, sleeping areas were wonderful. This was by far the best way we could celebrate and are so glad we chose Providence. Michael is a gracious owner, much thanks!!! Plan on going back!!!!"

  • Great Place for a Quite & Relaxation Vacation

"This condo is clean and had every thing we needed. We cooked our own breakfast and lunches and ate dinner at the local restaurants. The kitchen has everything we needed. For dinner, there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The beach and pool are a very short (like two minute) walk from the condo. Either are great places to relax and/or get a tan. The beach is not over crowded like many are during Spring Break. The owner provided three chairs and umbrellas for the beach. This is a wonderful spot for sunsets, either on the beach or from screened in deck on the condo. Our kids (two young adults) slept on the sofa sleep, and while cozy, were fine with it. The screened in deck was a great place to relax if you do not want to go to the pool/beach. The owner and management company are extremely easy to work with and the owner's recommendations were wonderful and appreciated. You cannot go wrong staying here."

  • Captiva Lover!

"My family and I just spent 10 amazing days in Captiva at Dr. Sawyer's beautiful Condo. This is our second year at this condo - we abandoned the South Seas condos because the set up here is perfect. I noticed immediately that there was new carpet and sofas and new bedding. The place is gorgeous and immaculate! The lanai looks over Sunset beach - truly spectacular. For nature lovers, there's an osprey nest just outside with baby Ospreys. Every day we watched Dolphins and manatees swim in the water ... Practically with us! My husband fished off the beach and caught trout and flounder. And we truly appreciated the new beach chairs and umbrellas provided by Dr Sawyer. There's really no need for South Seas amenities. The condo is in walking distance to a group of shops and Doc Fords grill. No need to drive!! A short walk to the Bubble Room, great Mexican restaurant, the Mucky Duck... And more!!!! I can't say enough. Best vacation ever."
