  • Great Place to Stay

"We had a great stay at Manatee Cove. It has a great location on the bay with a dock to fish from and a path across the street which leads to the beach. We had the beach to ourselves most of the week. The layout of the home was perfect for us especially the separate downstairs living area where the kids could sleep, watch TV and hang out. It also helped having the 2 kitchens with our large group. We plan on staying here again."

  • You will LOVE this home!!

"I can not say enough about how awesome this home is! It has everything a vacationer would want and need to enjoy themselves. My husband and I rented Absentminded for a family celebration of our 40th anniversary. There were 10 people, including my 2 young grandsons. This home had something for everyone and we all had a fantastic time. The owner and the management company work so well together and quickly took care of one small problem we ran into. We were all so impressed with the property and with the entire first experience with Homeaway. I have already booked another rental with the company!"

  • Great House for Two Small Familes

"We are two couples each with a late teen son. The home was clean, beds comfortable. One of the features we liked about the property is the separate living areas, each with its own bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Downstairs is large enough for all to gather while each floor offers privacy for the adults/couples. Unless you're looking for a beachfront property, location is within walking distance of about anything you'd need. Beach, restaurants, boat rentals, convenience store (liquor) are all within a 10 minute walk. Would (and hopefully will) book this for another getaway in the future."

  • Really Nice Condo in South Seas

"This lands ends condo is really good for a small family or girlfriend getaway! Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and enjoy the view of the gulf which included pelicans, dolphins and boats everyday! Really enjoyed the use of the fishing poles and beach chairs too. We brought our own bikes instead of renting and rode everywhere, including all the way to the Sanibel lighthouse! The kitchen was hardly used but had more than everything you needed for your stay. I only wish they had left some empty cupboard space for our own food. The beds were super comfortable and really nice linens. Bathrooms were really clean and had great towels! The only downside I would say if you were expecting to use the resort amenities including the trolley, ice cream store, restaurants, beach rentals or any of the shops you cannot. They do not sell daily or weekly passes. Its a shame South Seas doesn't even in their off season wouldn't want your money. We live in a resort in South Carolina and they don't turn down any reason to take your money. We enjoyed the pool we were aloud to use but if you have small children they might be disappointed they can't use the resort pool which has slides etc. Doc Fords was the only restaurant you can pay cash or credit card at within South Seas area but honestly that was the only place we didn't like! Stick to Keylime Bistro, Otters, Mucky Duck, Bubble Room and Captiva Cantina that are outside the gates. I wouldn't hesitate telling anyone to rent this well maintained condo!"
