  • Platinum level stay simply outstanding

"Having been to Florida five times previously we decided to spend some time at the beach as well as visiting the parks etc in Orlando, so i was looking for a property that had the ideal location (right on the beach) plus the luxury to match and i found it in Bert's condo on siesta key.The condo is truly wonderful, its really really spacious with plenty of light and has an airy feeling to it. At the condo you will find gorgeous furnishings, exceptional comfort, a superbly fitted out kitchen, three gorgeous bedroom (the master suite is awesome with a huge bathroom), two bathrooms, two balconys (front and rear) with the rear balcony just off the two rear bedrooms and the lap pool within about ten paces. We used the outside grill and ate on the balcony which is screened by tropical palms so you get lots of privacy. The big pool and spa we used a few times but the majority of the time we spent on the beach which is literally five paces from the pool and i have to say is the best beach ive ever had the pleasure to walk on.....the sand is like icing sugar, so white and fine and doesn't retain the heat so no burnt feet when walking to the water. Bert has thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay and if you need something which isnt there, (which i very much doubt) Bert will find how to get it for you. He even supplied beach toys, beach chairs, extra beach towels and if you run out of clean towels Bert has supplied great laundry facilities which are dead easy to use. I cannot rave enough about this beautiful condo it is simply wonderful and im so looking forward to going back very soon. I would never stay in any other property now in siesta key having had such a blissful stay at Berts condo. Thankyou so much Bert for giving us a truly exceptional stay and going above and beyond with your knowledge and kindness. xxx"

  • Christmas at Captains Bay

"My husband and I and our 2 adult daughters enjoyed a 2 weeks escape from the Canadian cold at Diegos condo in Dec 2015. The description and photos on homeaway are entirely accurate, the condo was clean and decorated as shown, comfortable and more than adequate for our stay. There was pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, the only thing I missed was a blender. I also appreciated some staples being there already, dishwasher detergent, dishsoap, laundry detergent, paper towels, tp so you don' t have to run out immediately. We liked being able to park right by the elevator in the shade, the 2 pools were lovely and we never had an issue finding a lounge chair to sun at. The beach is a short walk across the street through the Wyndhams parking lot, and is lovely. The Wyndham offers water sports for reasonable prices and cabana/lounge chairs for $20 a day, but we used Diegos chairs that he has in a storage area by the parking spot. Although frequent visitors to many other parts of Florida over the years this was our first time in Fort Myers Beach and we loved it. Not pretensious, lots of great restaurants around, lots of things to see and do within an hours drive. We did Everglades City/airboating one day, Naples and the zoo another as the girls had fond memories of it when their grandparents owned a condo there for many years. Sanibel and Captiva another day, which brings me to my biggest negative, traffic. Getting on/off FMB at the north end of the island can take considerable time as it is a one lane street each way , same thing on Sanibel/Captiva but it is a touristy area, I guess you have to expect it. Exiting the island on the south end is out of the way but at least you are moving. Another negative was the 1 grocery store Publix certainly takes advantage of tourists with very expensive prices for groceries. I would assume off island stores in Fort Myers itself are better? We enjoyed eateries Nervous Nellies, Doc Fords down by Times Square area and Skyes, South Beach and Pinchers near the condo. Diego gives you some good advice regarding restaurants, rentals etc and we will have to go again to sample more of the fun of the area. There are also tons of tiki bars/happy hours to take advantage of, although my freshly turned 19 year old daughter was not impressed by being " carded" pretty consistently, even though she was with us, as age in Florida is 21. Lastly, Diego was great to deal with, we will be back! The Nairns"

  • Perfectly Wonderful

"Upon arrival we fell in love with the charm of the Blue Beach House. The location to the beach access was great, a quick trot across the street and we were sitting on the beautiful white sand. The house has a kitchen supplied with everything you may need and a few extras. This house looks small from the outside but is large inside with 5 nice bedrooms and plenty of living space for all to relax and enjoy being on beach time! My family is already beginning to plan our next trip !"
