  • Amazing Stay !

"My family and I spent the entire month of July in this beautiful unit and had an amazing time! We had previously stayed at the Bermuda Bay Club and this is by far the best location in the street, along with the best quality and value. The view from the living room and the bedrooms is absolutely breathtaking. The unit was very clean, and both well and conveniently furnished. The owners are charming people, and very responsive too. They will make sure you get all the info you need prior and during your stay. We had to contact them because of a minor problem in one of the bathrooms. We were impressed to see how quickly they responded and drove all the way from Orlando to the unit in order to fix the issue. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking to enjoy Florida at its best. The beach across the house is one of the most beautiful i have ever seen. The island in general is also a treasure in itself: you will find wonderful bars and restaurants walking distances, and it is also wonderful to discover the island with a bike! Do not hesitate to book and see all this by yourself! From now on, I know I'll be sure to check availability for this house every time i stop by the area!"

  • Amazing!

"The condo#B-202 at Sanibel Island was exactly what the pictures show. I loved the view the best! The rooms were excellent size and big enough to fit my family of 5 comfortably. We will definately stay here again at this condo!"

  • Great Condo with Gulf View

"September 2016 - Our first time using Home Away and didn't know what to expect. We were totally pleased with the condo and the view of the Gulf. The condo was very clean and tidy. It had basically every thing you need to make you feel at home. there was even Beach chairs and umbrellas to use at beach which made it nice not having to bring ours. Bill the owner was awesome to work with and very responsive. The building was secure! There was a couple of things that wasn't a show stopper but felt i needed to mention. During the week in september we were there, they had construction going on, on the building we were at. luckily it was on the side and back of the building from us. It was noisy at times but nothing we couldn't handle. Also, the construction people held up the elevators when we were out one day and there was no other way into the building. I tried calling the emergency number provided to us in our room but no one answered and there was no voice mail option. We were stuck out of the building for a little while until we were able to get them to let elevators down. I kind of wish we had notice of the construction on the building prior to our trip so we could have been prepared. The view of the gulf is awesome from the balcony. Nice to relax and watch the birds and dolphins. The beach in front of the condo is not easy to get to. You have to trek through water to get to it bu its great for shell hunting but not for laying out. We loaded up car and drove about 1/2 mile to beach access area for a better beach experience. Which we didn't mind.. parking was good this time of year but may be a little tricky in busier times. Overall we were please and enjoyed our stay . We plan to do it again.. Thanks.."

  • 2nd year in a row in this wonderful unit

"This is the second year in a row that we stayed in this unit, and in between our stays, the owner upgraded the kitchen, which is beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked with probably every utensil, appliance, pots, pans, etc. that you would ever need. The unit is very clean, and the bedding and furniture still feel and look brand new. The owner is very nice and has always replied very quickly with any question I have had. My previous review has more details, but to clarify, the master bedroom has a partial gulf view and partial pool view, but the view of both the gulf and the pool are mostly obstructed from the enclosed lanai due to the many lush palm trees on the pathway leading to the pool outside below the lanai, but it is a very nice tropical view. The pool is a large saltwater pool, which is nice because you come out feeling relatively clean and there is no smelly chlorine. The grounds are very well kept. There are stairs near the unit and lead to the unit’s covered parking spot. The washer/dryer and elevator are down the hall. Outside the elevator, there was a shopping cart and luggage cart which is helpful on move in/move out day with luggage, and after a trip to Publix (just over the bridge, about 5 minutes away) with lots of groceries. The huge deck with BBQ grills near the beach is great, and it has a covered section with tables and chairs. There was a massive meteor shower while we were there mid-August, and my family went out onto this deck at 5 am until dawn, and saw 20-30 meteors overhead! Siesta Key is well known for it’s fine white powdery sand, and even in the August sun and heat, it never got hot and was very comfortable to walk on it barefoot. If you are an early riser, walking on the beach just after sunrise is beautiful – I even happened to witness a baby sea turtle that had just hatched, make it’s way to the water!"
