  • What a view

"This is a great place to take a family...The view is everything we were hoping for, and the pool is fantastic. My whole family had a great time. The keys were really easy to get, and the owner and management company were really responsive. Make sure you try Doc Ford's restaurant if you go anywhere near Sanibel."

  • Longboat Key treasure

"This house turned out to be a lovely surprise. Just off the main road which runs down Longboat Key and easily identifiable, it had everything required to make our stay a success. We arrived from Tampa airport late, and Brian had waited to meet us for as long as he could. However, although he wasn't at the property, he had left the lights on, which made us feel very welcomed, and gave the house a cosy feel. The house was spotlessly clean , and incredibly well equipped. There was a large folder which told us everything that we needed to know about the running of the house, nearby facilities, and how to get to the beach and the great swimming pool (where my husband ploughed up and down nearly every morning doing his habitual 50 lengths!). We had invited guests to stay with us (a cousin and her husband flew in for a few days on the way back from Mexico, and our son stayed for a week from Canada). The house was well equipped with bed linen, which made it easy for us to change beds, and the laundry facilities were great. Harry's Continental Kitchen is close by and provides a great breakfast and dinner, plus a store for provisions. The Lazy Lobster is a stunning setting for dinner. The nearest large supermarket is Publix, a mere 15 minutes away by car. We made the most of our trip by segwaying, kayaking, hiring a boat, attending a BBQ and salsa party in Boca Grande, as well as the most stunning wedding, sitting on the beach watching the bird life and sunsets, visiting the Ringling Circus Museum, attending the Coquina Beach Sunday market, and the David Chihuly exhibition in St. Petersburg .... then we ran out of time. Thanks, Brian, for providing such a great base to operate from, and also for allowing us to stay in the house later than check out time as our flight was in the evening."

  • Favourite home from home

"Just perfect location - peaceful yet close to all essential amenities - which is why we keep coming back. The apartment is well maintained and comfortable. We enjoy being able to swim everyday at the pool. Met up with the neighbours and made new friends. Re-visited restaurants we love and discovered new ones. Played some terrific golf courses and at attractive rates. All of which makes it perfect for us."

  • Lovely Stay - Looking Forward to Returning

"We had rented previously in Naples, but this was our first time in Falling Waters. It won't be our last. Alan was a pleasure to work with, quick and responsive to our questions, friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. He made everything easy. The condo is bright, spacious, airy, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The large lanai - our favorite spot - has a wonderful view of the lake and fountain, and the fountain lights up at night for romance and atmosphere. Half of the lanai is shaded by palm trees for comfort out of the sun, or you can switch to the smaller front lanai to seek more shade or watch the sunset. We spent a happy, relaxing two weeks in the condo. When we returned to it mid-holiday after two nights in a hotel on a side-trip to the Florida Keys, we stepped inside and felt we were "home." Falling Waters is a lovely community, nicely landscaped and tended, with a fantastic saltwater pool. My husband can swim in a mud puddle, but I'm picky about pools and this one was exceptional. My husband was amazed how long I spent in the water. When we return - and we will - we will happily rent this condo again. Thank you, Alan, for sharing your home with us."
