  • Impressive Location

"We spent 3 weeks at the property and loved the location. The view from the porch is top notch and the pool is a nice treat - larger than expected. The pictures of the property are right on the money. The front view is misleading only in the sense that it doesn't provide a good indication of how large the house actually is. House has a nice layout, furniture that is in good shape, and there are plenty of seating options. Saw Dolphins pretty much every day, with one in particular that liked to do runs down the seawall creating lots of waves. There is boat rental place not too far from the house (easily walkable) that was good to work with. My son and I were able to pick up the boat and then dock it at the house to pick up the rest of the group. We had a great day on Estero Bay watching the wildlife and eating lunch at Flippers. The house was clean and the caretaker was very helpful. I would certainly recommend the house to friends and relatives. In fact, we had relatives down for the third week and they loved it. Our grandson (11) really enjoyed the pool and all the activities in the area. There are many good restaurants not far from the house (e.g. Flippers, Fresh Catch Bistro, South Beach, Table Apart, and the Bayfront Bistro, among others). Lots to do in the area (e.g. boating, fishing, wildlife preserves, swimming, beaches, of course, and theater)."

  • Great place on the beach

"We very much enjoyed our visit at this condo. It is very clean and we found everything we needed while here. The owner Linda is very nice to work with! A few small things that made our stay nicer: The lanai is screened and has a ceiling fan. We had coffee out here every morning. It was 90 and humid all week but this made it enjoyable to be outside. There is a basket full of menus and things to do that we found very helpful. There were plenty of hangers in the closet. The building is the very last one before Bowditch Point Park. It is very quiet here. There is also a trolley stop at Bowditch if you want to ride that to Times Square rather than deal with the parking and traffic. We would certainly stay here again."

  • Quiet getaway yet close to beach, restaurants etc.

"Pool right out the front door and shared with only 3 neighbors! Duplex was simple and clean. No frills. Park at your front door and only a short walk to the white sands of the beach. I would book here again - owners were laid back and friendly and the local was quiet and relaxing."

  • Perfect Getaway

"Very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need and then some. Loved the view from the balcony, and the pull-down shades for the late afternoon when the direct sun needed to be blocked for a little bit. Enjoyed that Smuggler's Cove provided lounge chairs for the grass area, and that Steve had beach chairs and an umbrella if we wanted to sit on the sandy beach and a cooler to use. Beach area very clean. Patrols drove by regularly. Water is shallow and no undertow. (No waves to speak of either) Several people fished while on the shore or while standing in the water. The building has 4 gas grills available and cleaning brushes available. People did a good job cleaning off the grills as they used them. If the condo had any grilling tools, I couldn't find them. (But I would not expect them) When we return sometime, I will pack a metal spatula or tongs. We could have bought some at Publix, but decided eating out was easier anyway! Charley's (when you head south) has a good prime rib and an exceptional salad bar. Publix is an easy walk, and the trolly stop is very nearby if you don't want to use a car. We also ventured over to Sanibel Island (toll is $6.00 to cross the bridge) and drove all the way across on to Captiva Island to eat at the Bubble Room. Unique atmosphere and this was our favorite meal for the whole trip. Also ventured into Fort Myers to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. That was an enjoyable tour which included a museum, Edison's lab, and botanical gardens."
