  • Carlos Point Beach

"We enjoyed our 2-week stay at our Carlos Point Beach condo. The location was very nice, 2 blocks of beach from the condo doors to the Gulf. The State Park, a mile away, had even a better beach and lots to do. Our unit was clean and comfortable, but the furnishing could use updating. There were some issues with controls for the three TVs in the condo, which required us to call the cable company for fixes, which were easy to fix (bad batteries, poor connection of the cable box to one TV, a stuck button on one remote). More perturbing was an occasional malfunctioning elevator - we being 5 stories from the ground level) - that occurred over a 3-day period, which an owner said happened too frequently. We had to carry grocery and grilled food up 5-flights of stairs or take a far off elevator. The pool was nice. The fish restaurants in the area were very good. We had easy day trips to several interesting places, including Sanibel Island, Naples, the Everglades, boat cruises, and nature parks."

  • This condo was exactly as advertised!

"This condo was amazing! Beautifully decorated! It overlooked the pool and the beach. It was a great location. We are looking to come back next year for longer! The property was kept spotless by the maintenance crew. Great job John!!"

  • Quiet, clean, updated - this was a good place to chill over thanksgiving week

"The Carlos Pointe property is on the south end of Esetro Key and faces south toward Lovers Key. Whether on the lanai, at the pool or on the beach you will see Sunrises from the east and sunsets to the west. The property location is ideal if you do not want to be in or adjacent to the higher activity/night life spots like Ft Meyers Beach - although ther is a nice sidewalk off the street you'll likely choose to drive (1.3 m North) to the shopping/restaurant plaza area where 'Castaways', 'Sandbar Grill', 'South Beach Grill' and several apparel shops can be found. Hey, there's a couple of '7-Eleven's' there if you need a 'Big Gulp'. What is recommend is a sunset at either the tiki bar at 'Outrigger's' or the Wyndham Beach Bar. As for the beach, it is a large expanse from the condo to the shore which is positioned more on the mouth of the intercoastal waterway opening to the actual Gulf. If you need pristine sand & water conditions right out your back door, this may not be your place as the sand quality (almost powder like) are found both slightly North (near Wyndham Hotel) or South on Bonita Baech - both are a 5-8 min drive away. The unit is as represented on the site as the time of this review and is great for a couple with 2 children or 2 couples is 1 couple is O.K. with twin beds. FYI - if you are traveling with kids that need To burn off a lot of energy you might be leaving the property as the pool seemed to be geared to quietness and closes promptly at dusk."

  • Wonderful place to relax

"We spent a week at this condo and enjoyed every minute of it! Condo is up to date, very clean and well furnished. Great view of the beach and only steps away from the condo. The bedrooms are large and each have their own tv and bathrooms. Alice is wonderful and responds quickly to any questions or problems you may have. Would definitely recommend this condo"
