  • Quaint cottage near beach

"We didn't personally meet our hosts, but stayed in contact via text message. We had their and phone numbers and knew to call them with any questions or concerns. I only had a couple of questions, which were answered immediately. The way the residence is depicted in its description is exactly what we had been expecting, and got. The home is cute, quaint, cozy, comfortable and clean, with all the amenities you would expect from a home and then some, whether sunning by the pool, relaxing on the dock, or relaxing/watching TV and the end of the day. The location, a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach, was the best! The walk to the beach, which is where we spent most of our time, is very short. A little bit longer walk, via sidewalk, will find you near amenities of restaurants, stores and a CVS. A couple times I heard people on the beach complaining about their hotel accommodations -- noisy neighbors keeing them up all night, housekeeping cleaning a room late in the afternoon when the guest would have preferred being in the shower after a long day on the beach -- obviously, in a house, such as this beach house, you are in complete control of your destiny! We had the house for a week and couldn't have been happier."

  • Wonderful, pet-friendly home at the southern end of Ft. Myers Beach, FL!

"We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation in this delightful Lagoon home at the southern end of Ft. Myers Beach. Except for food, this house has every amenity you would need. The house is pet-friendly so we brought our 2 small dogs. They loved looking out the windows in the Florida room, in addition to watching the fish jumping and the dolphins playing while sitting by the pool in the yard. The house is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, and while out walking the dogs, we found the neighbors to be more friendly than even those in our own neighborhood back home! Access to a private beach on the Gulf is a short walk but if you need to drive because of bringing chairs, etc., there's plenty of beach parking in the area. We met the owner, Tedd, during our stay. He is a sweetheart and will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is enjoyable. He lives in the same neighborhood and is available to help if you need anything. This was our first experience renting a home rather than staying in a hotel. Unless we're just going somewhere for a long weekend, we'll definitely do this again. And if it's to the Ft. Myers Beach area, we'll absolutely book Tedd's house!"

  • Impressive Location

"We spent 3 weeks at the property and loved the location. The view from the porch is top notch and the pool is a nice treat - larger than expected. The pictures of the property are right on the money. The front view is misleading only in the sense that it doesn't provide a good indication of how large the house actually is. House has a nice layout, furniture that is in good shape, and there are plenty of seating options. Saw Dolphins pretty much every day, with one in particular that liked to do runs down the seawall creating lots of waves. There is boat rental place not too far from the house (easily walkable) that was good to work with. My son and I were able to pick up the boat and then dock it at the house to pick up the rest of the group. We had a great day on Estero Bay watching the wildlife and eating lunch at Flippers. The house was clean and the caretaker was very helpful. I would certainly recommend the house to friends and relatives. In fact, we had relatives down for the third week and they loved it. Our grandson (11) really enjoyed the pool and all the activities in the area. There are many good restaurants not far from the house (e.g. Flippers, Fresh Catch Bistro, South Beach, Table Apart, and the Bayfront Bistro, among others). Lots to do in the area (e.g. boating, fishing, wildlife preserves, swimming, beaches, of course, and theater)."
