  • Enjoying Ft. Myers...

"I felt lucky to find such a nice and quiet place to stay. The location was convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The home is updated, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time there. Jacki from Illinois"

  • Quaint beach house

"Our family had a really nice vacation. The home was within walking distance to the beach (across the highway). There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs that is more apartment style. The kitchen was modern and had a good supply of cooking utensils with a charcoal grill outside. My kids had plenty of room to play in the yard and did so everyone might after dinner. I imagine this home was an original beach house prior to Fort Myers becoming a booming vacation spot. The beach access near us was not crowded during our stay, but Times Square was filled with people. We were far enough away from all the other vacationers but close enough to do all of the activities. If you are looking for a peaceful time of us and relaxation, I would recommend this spot."

  • Ohioian

"We enjoyed our stay in Ft. Myers Beach. This unit is excellent, having everything you need to make you feel at home. It was wonderful to have the ocean at your steps. No long walks to get there. Last year, we stayed at a unit where you had to walk around a nature area. The 90+ heat made it a very long walk. No problem at Smugglers Cove. Both the ocean and pool are right outside you door! The unit itself has plenty of room for a family - enough seating and sleeping areas for all. This is a kid friendly unit. I hope to return in the future. Thanks for sharing your unit!!"

  • Quiet and Beautiful

"Just today left this paradise after spending the week with my boyfriend and one other couple here for our spring break... Pros: walking distance to an amazing white sand beach, location is close to everything yet never busy or crowded, upon arrival the place was impeccably clean, everything is just as pictured, the app you download after booking had everything we needed to know about the place, kitchen had all the utensils and pans we needed, grocery store was very close, street is tucked away from the main road, the beach itself is clean and beautiful (gulf is always nicer than atlantic side) Cons: when we arrived my boyfriend had a short conversation with one of the neighbors walking her dog he said that she seemed nice but he definitely got the hint that this neighborhood wasn't thrilled that college kids were renting however their politeness seemed more genuine after a couple of nights I think they realized we weren't there to party or make noise, The shower heads are really short I'm 5'1" and I had to lean my head back to rinse my hair.... my 6'3" boyfriend was on his knees to shower, the master bathroom is not connected to the master bedroom, The top step on the back porch staircase was dangerously wobbly and should be fixed one of my guests almost fell down the stairs. Heads up for future renters: bring your own TP as the stuff they give you is 1 roll of 1-ply per bathroom, if you have sensitive skin or prone to sunburns maybe bring your own bed sheets as they aren't gentle on skin, bring your own laundry detergent/dryer sheets/dishwasher detergent, beach equipment and towels aren't supplied, no coffee maker if you're into that but plenty of amazing little breakfast places around, IF YOU'RE YOUNG 20'S SPRING BREAKERS LIKE US maybe find a place closer to Times Square as that is where most of the young people are but it's quite busy, if you're looking for bars and clubs and partying this probably isn't the prime island for you, overall Estero is a very old persons beach which isn't bad it's just quiet and honestly my group was looking for quiet We really enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect relaxing week that we were looking for!"
