  • New Year Vacation

"My husband, our daughter, her partner and I, went there the day after Boxing day, for a two week stay for the New Year celebrations! The condo was absolutely brilliant. Arrived at 20.30 hours, checked condo, fantastic, dropped luggage on floor and walked to Santini Plaza across the road for a bite to eat and drinks! Perfect location very central to both ends of the Island! Felt relaxed in the condo, plenty of space for 4 adults, the layout gave us all privacy. Lovely to see the views from both angles, beach to your left, Santini Plaza to your right! Everything was in the condo that we needed, even cooking utensils, for when we were tooooo tired to go out. The walk to the beach took a very short 2 minutes, the pool area was so clean, actually the maintenance of the whole building and grounds was extremely well maintained. The owner was extremely helpful and very responsive with e-mails to her. Overall we had a fab holiday!"

  • Great Location / Amazing Views / Well Equipped

"This condo was in the perfect location on the southern end of Ft Myers Beach. There is a small lagoon that forms between the shoreline and houses/condos that actually carries over into the dry season. Riviera Club is on the northern tip of this lagoon. This made getting to the beach so easy. If you stay any further south on the island you have to walk way around the lagoon to get to the beach. There are not many rental condo's that are located in the upper floors of buildings. You definitely want to stay here! We were able to sit on the balcony and watch dolphins out front. Those on the beach did not even see them in the water! The unit was very well equipped. Jeff has two bikes there for us to use, which we did. There is plenty of beach items to use - umbrella (you will want this!), floaties, etc. Also there is plenty of towels, kitchen items, washer/dryer in unit and such that made life so easy for us. There is also a pool and hot tub in this complex which is a great alternative. This unit is in a great location for both on-island activities and off-island fun. There is a small shopping center about 2 blocks away that has 5 different places to eat (two of which have bars) so the evening meal is within walking distance. If you want to go into town it is a short drive or trolley ride away. Off island (definitely use the south bridge) we made a day trip to the Everglades very easily. We found more things to do than we actually had time for! It is well worth it to rent a power boat and explore the mangroves; Lovers Key State Park has kayaks for rent - we saw baby dolphins and manatee during our venture; Sanibel Island and so much more. Here is a hint for extra fun: walk the beach at low tide. You will be amazed at the creatures that are only visible during low tide! As for those of you who are looking for those unique shells - this is a great beach for them. We found better shells on this beach than those on the famous Sanibel beaches. Please be respectful though and do not take live shells - yes there are lots of shells that are still being used by their owners! Finally, Jeff was great to work with. He was very responsive to my inquiries / questions."

  • Great home and location!

"We choose this home for our spring break vacation and had a wonderful time. The home was very clean and had everything we could think of. The beach was a short walk and they provided everything we needed to enjoy our time at the beach as well. The owners gave us lots of great advice on things to do and places to eat My kids really enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub. It was a very quiet location but very close to a trolley stop so we took the trolley downtown to enjoy shopping and restaurants without the parking hassles. We highly recommend this property and would go back for a future vacation!"

  • Easy, Breezy South Fort Myers Beach condo

"This comfortable condo has everything we needed and then some - we particularly appreciated the lanai, the comfortable beds and the large master bathroom. All you need to bring is beach towels! The heated pool in the complex is nice, and everyone is very helpful, including Brenda in the front office. An easy walk (5 minutes) across the street and down a sandy path takes you right to the beach, which must be at its widest here! Sun chairs, umbrellas and cabanas are available for rent. A seafood restaurant, "Pinchers", in one of the adjoining beach hotels has a tiki bar with drinks and food right on the beach. Just south of the condo complex is a CVS and a small, cute shopping plaza (Santini) with a couple of restaurants and a lively market on Tuesday mornings. For a supermarket, go north to hit Publix. For more restaurants and general "beach craziness", go north. If you're here for the beach, stay right where you are and enjoy! We loved it and will be back. Tip: "Fresh Catch Bistro" further up the beach for Happy Hour, starting at 3 pm - great affordable drinks and food with a view. Or Happy Hour at Lani Kai on top of the hotel, starting at 4 pm, if you want more action and a fantabulous outdoor beach view while sitting in the 'moving' booths!! Also really enjoyed "Nervous Nellie" at the top of Fort Myers Beach - outdoor seating on the water, with heaters!"
