  • Best location on Ft Myers Beach

"The Island Winds is located at the quiet end of Ft. Myers Beach. The huge beach is about 30 steps from the building entrance. A grocery and pharmacy are only a few minutes-drive away. There are many restaurants on the island with great food and almost all offering great happy-hour deals. Our favorites...Smokin Oyster Brewery, Bayfront Bistro, Fresh Catch Bistro and for breakfast don't miss the Heavenly Biscuit. The condo is all that you see in the pictures and more. Everything we needed was there including beach towels, beach chairs & umbrella and even a little cooler for toting drinks to the beach. We found all we needed in the kitchen for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner including gas grills for grilling. Even though the pool was going through a renovation, we had access to the pool next door...a short 3-minute walk away. The owners were very attentive to our needs the whole two weeks we were there. We definitely will be back!"

  • Great stay!

"We just got back from our stay at 295 Mango St. and are already missing the pool. The property was in great shape and the garage with the ping pong table as well as the pool area were definitely enjoyed by our two teenagers. The gas grill was a great feature as well and was definitely used during our stay. We were in need of a rolling cooler and it was nice to find that the rental company had that available for us to rent and even would've delivered if it hadn't been Sunday. When we arrived we were starving and it was pouring out so the first place delivering that we found was Ray's Pizza. That quickly became our go to delivery place during the week. We rented bikes for the teens during our stay and they enjoyed that, there is a rental place at the end of the street, along with another one a short walk down Estero. After reading all of the positive reviews we decided to try the Heavenly Biscuit at the end of the street. We got there when there wasn't a line and were able to get one of the tables inside. The food was excellent. It was also great having Royal Scoop at the end of the street, I know I dropped $100 in there over the course of the week but Death by Peanut Butter is amazing. We also enjoyed being in walking distance to the Bay Oaks recreation center where the boys were able to go during open gym and play basketball for a small fee. The 7-11 and grocery stores are also close by. You won't be disappointed with a stay at 295 Mango Street:)"

"It was the perfect place for us. Loved the lanai and spacious shower. Everything we needed was provided. The walk to the beach was approx. 2 blocks and great restaurants within walking distance."

  • Very nice place. The view is incredible.

"We enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect. The condo was great. We especially like the walk in shower. The best part was having morning coffee on the balcony watching the pelicans and the dolphins. The condo is close to dining and the trolley. It is steps away from the beach. Great time!"
