  • Great location- close to everything

"The Caper townhouse was the perfect spot to call home for a wonderful week of adventures and relaxing. There is so much to do close by- just a few minutes in the car to the beach, Sanibel and Captiva, great restaurants, live music, outlet shopping, and much more. Our home for the week was comfortable, clean, and well kept. The property is nicely manicured and the boardwalk is nice to stroll on and lookout onto the water and admire the boats. The pool was perfect for us and our two kids. I wish we had our boat with us as the property has access to a boat slip. It would be too easy to get to so many areas quickly, including: Fort Myers beach, Lover's Key, Sanibel and Captiva islands, Cape Coral and it would have been a nice ride to get out to Cabbage Key for burgers and refreshments. We'll have to save it for next time as we are definitely coming back to enjoy all the location and comforts the townhome has to offer. Thank you for opening up your home for us to enjoy!"

  • Easy, Breezy South Fort Myers Beach condo

"This comfortable condo has everything we needed and then some - we particularly appreciated the lanai, the comfortable beds and the large master bathroom. All you need to bring is beach towels! The heated pool in the complex is nice, and everyone is very helpful, including Brenda in the front office. An easy walk (5 minutes) across the street and down a sandy path takes you right to the beach, which must be at its widest here! Sun chairs, umbrellas and cabanas are available for rent. A seafood restaurant, "Pinchers", in one of the adjoining beach hotels has a tiki bar with drinks and food right on the beach. Just south of the condo complex is a CVS and a small, cute shopping plaza (Santini) with a couple of restaurants and a lively market on Tuesday mornings. For a supermarket, go north to hit Publix. For more restaurants and general "beach craziness", go north. If you're here for the beach, stay right where you are and enjoy! We loved it and will be back. Tip: "Fresh Catch Bistro" further up the beach for Happy Hour, starting at 3 pm - great affordable drinks and food with a view. Or Happy Hour at Lani Kai on top of the hotel, starting at 4 pm, if you want more action and a fantabulous outdoor beach view while sitting in the 'moving' booths!! Also really enjoyed "Nervous Nellie" at the top of Fort Myers Beach - outdoor seating on the water, with heaters!"

  • Great Condo with Gulf View

"September 2016 - Our first time using Home Away and didn't know what to expect. We were totally pleased with the condo and the view of the Gulf. The condo was very clean and tidy. It had basically every thing you need to make you feel at home. there was even Beach chairs and umbrellas to use at beach which made it nice not having to bring ours. Bill the owner was awesome to work with and very responsive. The building was secure! There was a couple of things that wasn't a show stopper but felt i needed to mention. During the week in september we were there, they had construction going on, on the building we were at. luckily it was on the side and back of the building from us. It was noisy at times but nothing we couldn't handle. Also, the construction people held up the elevators when we were out one day and there was no other way into the building. I tried calling the emergency number provided to us in our room but no one answered and there was no voice mail option. We were stuck out of the building for a little while until we were able to get them to let elevators down. I kind of wish we had notice of the construction on the building prior to our trip so we could have been prepared. The view of the gulf is awesome from the balcony. Nice to relax and watch the birds and dolphins. The beach in front of the condo is not easy to get to. You have to trek through water to get to it bu its great for shell hunting but not for laying out. We loaded up car and drove about 1/2 mile to beach access area for a better beach experience. Which we didn't mind.. parking was good this time of year but may be a little tricky in busier times. Overall we were please and enjoyed our stay . We plan to do it again.. Thanks.."

  • Really - quite perfect!

"We chose this location after reading the reviews and wanting to be on the beach, but a bit away from the hustle of the Pier area. WOW, what a perfect place. Accommodations are very clean, well appointed, and everything you need is there - easily accessible in the rental. We felt at home from the moment we entered the property. David is fantastic and very accommodating. There's a local market right across the street, in easy walking distance to pick up any groceries etc, and the beach is outstanding at least 2 miles in either direction for long walks or jogging right along the water. We wont be disappointed here! Enjoy! Scott"
