  • A nice family get-away

"We rented Andreas home for one week in November. We have stayed in the FMB area for a few years and decided to try a different vacation rental. The home was spacious and open with high ceilings and plenty of amenities. While it was not warm enough to use the pool, we enjoyed sitting out pool side and relaxing. The area was very quiet and safe. Most evenings we walked around the Beachwalk neighbourhood and felt completely safe and relaxed doing so - the only others out walking were dogs and their owners! The location was convenient for getting to the beach, downtown or to the highway. We found a nearby estuary/beach to walk along (5 minute drive to get there) that was lovely in the mornings. This home was especially suited to people looking to avoid stairs as everything was main floor. In all the property was exactly as described and we enjoyed our time here."

  • Stay at this amazing home!

"I could rave about this VRBO all day, but in brief, we had an INCREDIBLE stay at this beautiful home. It is clean, spacious, extremely well stocked with everything you might need, located in a beautiful neighborhood, and the pool and hot tub are the best. We had just the most wonderful vacation and enjoyed barbecuing and relaxing by the pool so very much that we had to force ourselves to go out and explore Ft Myers. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. We were also traveling with a small baby and the home had everything we needed. We will be staying here again."

  • Close to downtown and communal space, but bathrooms not great

"We stayed at this house with several couples meeting up for a reunion. In a nutshell, this met our needs (good location, comfortable sleeping arrangements, useful kitchen and common spaces, parking for at least 3 cars), but there were a few oddities and inconveniences too (bathrooms, cleanliness). The location is really great for reaching downtown Fort Myers by foot. Neighborhood was nice, and Fort Myers is really cute. Note that the beaches are a solid 30 minutes away by car. Sanibel is a bit further- more like 45 minutes away. The communal space was comfortable, with seating for 8 at the dining room table and an updated and spacious kitchen. Most necessities were available, although there seemed to be a shortage of forks and cooking utensils, and no tools for cooking food on the grill. We didn't use the pool at all, but enjoyed sitting in comfy furniture on the front porch. The bedrooms were also relatively comfortable and as advertised. There were no beach/pool towels that we could find, but enough extra bath towels to use for the beach/pool if needed. The only complaint we had was with the bathrooms. The listing says it has 4 bathrooms, but this is a bit misleading. On the first floor, there is a "bathroom" that felt like an addition to the exterior of the house, with only a flimsy sliding door closing it off from the kitchen. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and then the third floor is a converted attic with one more bedroom. On the second floor, there is a large bathroom that only has a tub - no shower. The only other bathroom with a fully functioning shower in the house is in the master bathroom. It is a tiny space but works fine. The "fourth" bathroom is on the third floor - it had such a severe slope in the shower that a grown adult couldn't stand upright... and there is a window inside the shower that falls exactly mid-body, with no covering whatsoever. So whoever uses that shower has to kneel or crouch and will be on display for the rest of the neighborhood to see. Finally, although the house seemed clean enough, there was some grime around sink and shower areas, and we did see a couple of large bugs. For those reasons, we took a star off the rating. We enjoyed our stay and saved a lot of money staying at this house rather than at a hotel or resort. Ultimately, it was an enjoyable time and worth the price."

  • Wonderful Owner and beautiful home!

"Our family of 4 stayed in this home for 3 months while in the process of building a new house locally. We couldn't have had a better experience! The owner was such a pleasure to deal with, always willing to work with me if something came up on my end. The unit was beautiful and very comfortable for the 4 of us and we took full advantage of all the amenities the neighborhood had to offer. If you are thinking of renting this home, you will not be disappointed!!"
