  • Great home, great location, great vacation!

"Our family found our home away from home in Siesta Key! We wanted a house with a private pool that was also close to the beach, which is tough to find in Siesta Key. But, Mimi's home checks all the right boxes. It's a ten-minute walk or two minute bike ride to the beach access, which is at the north end of the public beach access area (still pretty private, even on Memorial Day weekend). Also, a five minute bike ride (or two minute drive) to the village restaurants. Even though it's close to the action, the house is in a quiet residential neighborhood; we didn't really hear anybody else and the back yard felt extremely private. The house itself was delightful: great open floor plan, well-furnished, clean, and comfortably equipped. The pool and hot tub were delightful! Finally, Mimi deserves special recognition for making us feel at home, from her rapid responses to email questions as we made the arrangements to her meeting with us at check-in to walk through the home. We'll be back!"

  • Close to everything & clean property

"We stayed in the smallest unit, but perfect for 2 adults. The location is great, just a 1 minute walk to the sandy beach (which is a quiet beach since there is no public parking at it), and 5 minute walk to town to various restaurants, shops, etc. We walked most nights to dinner. The unit and property was very clean, well maintained, and nice up to date furnishings and remodeling. My only comment would be that it would have been nice to have 2 TV trays in this unit since there really is no where to sit & eat. There were 2 stools, but the small counter top in Kitchen is really too small to sit & eat at. We used the stools as makeshift TV trays and sat on the sofa. Otherwise, it was a terrific unit, AC worked great. Even though we didn't use the pool, it was very clean. Around the back of property there are various beach "toys" and stuff to use (umbrellas, chairs, etc). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!"

  • Clean and owner very responsive

"Love the first floor for easy access for all but especially the kids. Everything clean and stocked. Best part is the basement cabana that is great for kids. Has ping pong and foosball and every sand toy imaginable. We had a problem with the lock and owner had it fixed by the next day and followed up several times to make sure we were satisfied. Everything in the home well labeled at each site so no confusion about how to operate or care for anything. Great beach getaway!"

  • 2016 Christmas-New Year's Getaway

"My girlfriend and I stayed in this beautiful 7TH floor studio apartment over the 2015-16 Holidays. We rode bikes to the State Park across the street, fished, sunbathed, shelled and took romantic sunset walks on the beach (across the street!). Doc’s restaurant was within walking distance and a little family-owned Mexican restaurant, as well as Coconut Jack’s, were just a short drive up the street. The New Year's Eve fireworks on the beach, from our private screened-in patio, were awesome with an unobstructed view up and down the beach! Everything in the apartment was clean, crisp, tastefully decorated and next to new. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing Holiday vacation and we would highly recommend it to relax, decompress and get-away!"
