  • Great spacious villa

"Stayed here with my husband and teenage son for a week as we wanted to visit Anna Maria island beaches, villa was absolutely fantastic and had everything you could possibly need. Great location for supermarkets with an Aldi, Walmart and publix all no more than a 5-10 minute drive away beaches 20 mins away. We loved staying here and hope to return in the near future. Thanks so much for letting us stay here The Trevor family"

  • Lovely condo on a beautiful beach!

"This condo is awesome! Spacious, clean, newly renovated, well furnished and located. Comfortable beds. We stayed 9 nights, and it started to feel like home very quickly! Parking for this unit is close, and covered. Keeps the car cool, and dry if you happen to run into rain. Also very good access to the beach, pool, and clubhouse (where there is coffee!) No need for using an elevator. The pool is big and the water is warm. Our stay was at the start of August so it wasn't crowded, always plenty of chairs at the pool and beach. The lanai is enclosed, which is nice in summer. Nice view of the pool and courtyard but palm trees obscure the Gulf view since it's 2nd floor. We didn't mind, the Gulf is just steps away! The sand on this beach is amazing, it really does stay cool enough to walk barefoot even in the hottest weather!! Siesta Key is very quiet and relaxed. No restaurants/clubs or lots of commercial activity, just beautiful private beach with the condos. There is a large deck that is perfect for watching the sunset. Sunday night there is a drum circle at the public beach, and you can walk there from the condo. We highly recommend the drum circle, people watching at it's best! Plenty of shopping & dining close by at the Village, but you will want a car or Johnny Ride for that. You will need a car if you want to shop at Publix. The owner is very nice, with quick email & phone responses and gave us some great tips on dining. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Siesta Dunes!"

  • Gorgeous beach front condo

"We stayed at this property July 30-August 6th, 2016. What a lovely condo!! We had 4 adults and 2 children. Plenty of room for all. The condo is very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and has beautiful views of the gulf. The upper deck above the lanai was enjoyed by all for morning sunrises and evening sunsets. The beds were extremely comfortable in both rooms. There is a pull out sofa sleeper as well. Plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a full size new washer and dryer as well. Easy access to the elevator and a quick walk to the beautiful beach! You will need to bring or rent beach chairs and umbrellas if you want them. Beach towels were in the unit. The owner, David, was very easy to work with and answered all questions quickly. We will definitely return to this condo on future trips to Sanibel."

  • Christmas at Captains Bay

"My husband and I and our 2 adult daughters enjoyed a 2 weeks escape from the Canadian cold at Diegos condo in Dec 2015. The description and photos on homeaway are entirely accurate, the condo was clean and decorated as shown, comfortable and more than adequate for our stay. There was pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, the only thing I missed was a blender. I also appreciated some staples being there already, dishwasher detergent, dishsoap, laundry detergent, paper towels, tp so you don' t have to run out immediately. We liked being able to park right by the elevator in the shade, the 2 pools were lovely and we never had an issue finding a lounge chair to sun at. The beach is a short walk across the street through the Wyndhams parking lot, and is lovely. The Wyndham offers water sports for reasonable prices and cabana/lounge chairs for $20 a day, but we used Diegos chairs that he has in a storage area by the parking spot. Although frequent visitors to many other parts of Florida over the years this was our first time in Fort Myers Beach and we loved it. Not pretensious, lots of great restaurants around, lots of things to see and do within an hours drive. We did Everglades City/airboating one day, Naples and the zoo another as the girls had fond memories of it when their grandparents owned a condo there for many years. Sanibel and Captiva another day, which brings me to my biggest negative, traffic. Getting on/off FMB at the north end of the island can take considerable time as it is a one lane street each way , same thing on Sanibel/Captiva but it is a touristy area, I guess you have to expect it. Exiting the island on the south end is out of the way but at least you are moving. Another negative was the 1 grocery store Publix certainly takes advantage of tourists with very expensive prices for groceries. I would assume off island stores in Fort Myers itself are better? We enjoyed eateries Nervous Nellies, Doc Fords down by Times Square area and Skyes, South Beach and Pinchers near the condo. Diego gives you some good advice regarding restaurants, rentals etc and we will have to go again to sample more of the fun of the area. There are also tons of tiki bars/happy hours to take advantage of, although my freshly turned 19 year old daughter was not impressed by being " carded" pretty consistently, even though she was with us, as age in Florida is 21. Lastly, Diego was great to deal with, we will be back! The Nairns"
