  • Nice home away from home!

"We spent the month of March in this very comfortable condo. It was clean, organized, nicely decorated, and met all of needs and expectations. The location is great for getting to many attractions and beaches-----just be aware of the traffic. We could walk to restaurants and shopping. The owner, Tim, was easy to work with. We would return."

  • Amazing Vacation

"My husband and myself with also my sister and her husband spent one beautiful week in this condo. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and had high hopes for the week and we were not disappointed! Besides getting the perfect weather all week the condo was Amazing. For 2 couples the way the bedrooms and baths are laid out we both had our areas and privacy, it was very clean (and I am picky!), and the building was in a great location to the Marriott. The kitchen was large, updated appliances, and everything you needed. The living area was very roomy but we didn't spend much time there, we were out on the large patio overlooking the water and pool. We enjoyed the views and sunsets and all the boats going by on waterway right in front. Our pool was defiantly heated which made it so enjoyable to just jump in and cool off, it was also well maintained and a large hot tub to enjoy later in the day or evening. There is a large pier that they allow fishing from and also a bait shop right there. Our condo supplied us with very nice poles that the men used and we had fresh fish for dinner several nights. Also, when we went to Captiva Island for the day the condo also had chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for our use, those were some of the extras that really came in handy. MaryAnn and Scott the rental managers was extremely helpful and easy to talk to, also was Meri the owner. I recommend this place and hope to go back soon!"

  • Our 6th stay in this beautiful condo

"All that we have said in previous reviews still stand. The condo, after 6 visits, really is very special to us and is like a home away from the UK. The owners are very helpful and friendly at all times. North Star is maturing beautifully and extremely well managed and cared for. The security is very good indeed. A new restaurant by the marina, Cantina Sol, has just opened offering higher standards of service and food. Each Year we do something new. This year we went by boat from Captiva to Useppa a private island in Pine Island Sound. only open to Residents and their guests. The owner of Captiva Cruises is a resident so we were there as his guests. Well worth a visit to this island paradise, no cars or roads just pink paths for golf buggies. The Eddison- Ford winter homes are well worth a visit. The estate has an amazing selection of trees especially the wonderful Banyan trees. We have already booked ourselves in for November and December 2016!!"

  • Perfect getaway and outstanding host!

"We just spent a wonderful month (March 2016) at this Iona home! The house is clean, attractive, has a beautiful view looking down the canal to the river & is well equipped with everything you need. You just need to bring your clothes & personal care items. The location is ideal; in a residential neighborhood close to grocery store, restaurants, outlet stores, pharmacy etc. We particularly liked eating out at the nearby Cape Cod Fish Co. The salmon BLT is great! Good barbecue at the Hickory Bar-B-Q down the road. We also found a good fish market - Beach Seafood Market on San Carlos Blvd. The staff is very helpful & the black fin snapper we brought home to cook was excellent. It is a short drive to Ft. Meyers Beach & Sanibel Island. If you go to Sanibel, don't miss Ding Darling Nature Preserve if you enjoy seeing the local wildlife, great views & lots of birds. The owner, Jim, is easy to contact and responds quickly to any question or need you may have. The washer died one afternoon (stuff happens!); we contacted Jim and within 2 hours the handyman was there; took care of the old washer & installed a brand new washing machine. My wet clothes hadn't even dried yet! All & all we had a great time, wonderful weather & came home relaxed & grateful for a fabulous vacation!"
