  • Family Summer Vacation

"We just got back from a 6 day vacation in Rotonda West. We absolutely loved this house. The pictures doesn't do it justice. The kids love swimming in the pool everyday. And fishing in the canal. We didn't keep the fish, but it is some really nice bass in there. The house had everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The layout is perfect. Parents on one side and the kids on the other. The master bath is to die for. From the soaking tub to huge shower. I could have stayed in there all week ;). Plenty of towels and pool toys. The furniture is super comfortable and definitely give you the beach feel. Everything is super close. Ron is excellent to rent from. He never made me feel like I was asking a silly question or bothering him. He was great. His property manager Stephen was there when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. If we ever vacation in Rotonda West again we would definitely rent from Ron. There is a guest book by the front door and seeing people from all around the world sign it was so cool. It just shows what a great place it is to vacation in."

  • Our Second Stay, Perfect House, Perfect Location

"I've rented many homes in South Florida and this is one of my favorites. It is located directly on Captiva Beach and only a two minute walk to our favorite restaurant the Mucky Duck. Being from Kansas, when I stay here I don't feel like I'm in the US anymore. The layout of the home is ideal. With two bedrooms upstairs and a den on the lower level it was the perfect amount of personal space for a 10 and 17 year old. Having three full bathrooms is also a plus. With an additional air conditioning unit in the home you won't need to worry about the house becoming too hot during the day - which is typical in a lot of rental homes in South Florida. You have the option of indoor and outdoor dining rooms so you can enjoy every meal with a tropical view. Even the indoor dining room has floor to ceiling windows that open to enjoy the cool breeze after a midday rain. There are plenty of beach chairs, sand toys for the kiddos, and flotation devices. My only recommendation is for the property to have an umbrella. There were two during our first stay but none this time. My favorite parts of this stay were the beautiful sunsets and the evening visits from dolphins in this area. I look forward to when I'll come back to Captiva. I won't stay anywhere else."

  • Great location!

"This is our second season at the condo. It is located on a large creek that empties into the ICW. The condo is two bedroom and tastefully furnished. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The complex has protected parking, pool with hot tub, and tennis/pickleball courts. The grounds are very well cared for. The beach is only 1.5 miles away. Shopping is nearby. Highly recommend this property."

  • Beautiful area, beautiful condo!

"What a treat it was to spend the month of April, 2016 here! Burnt Store Marina is a gated community with a mix of villas, garden condos, single family homes and a resort style high rise condo grouping Grande Isle. This condo in Grande Isle is spacious, well appointed with comfortable furnishings and lovely kitchen and baths. The lanai is large with beautiful sunset views of Charlotte Harbor. There is also an outside patio area. The pool area is truly resort like and just a few steps away from the condo. All of the amenities: spa, fitness, center, community center as well as the pool were plush and beautifully maintained. The marina walking trail runs around the perimeter and fishing boats, power boats and sail boats offer constantly changing views. It was only a 20 minute drive to downtown Punta Gorda and Fisherman's Wharf. Day trips to Boca Grande, Matlacha, Bookelia and Cape Coral were traffic free and interesting. The on site restaurant Cass Cay with both outdoor and inside seating and wonderful views is another plus."
