  • Best time EVER!

"My wife and I went to LGI with the sole purpose of looking at available real estate for sale. We rent this house (8918 Gulf St.) due to the lower cost, assumably because it was not beach front. Let me tell you, the beach is a measly one minute beautiful walk over a sandy trail, and your dock is even closer. It is a very narrow section of the island. The island is a step back in time and absolutely perfect. No cars, no crowds, just paradise! As for the rental itself, absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. The price was very reasonable and the owner, Tim, was very easy to work with while I was planning for the trip. No email went unanswered - I would say never more than 30 minutes and I was hearing back from him. If that didn't work, I could have called him but I never needed to. The house is fully functional and I believe Tim is looking to do some updating this summer. If you're planning a trip and you want a nice place at a great price I'd consider this one for sure. We will be back!!"

  • Wonderful!

"Came here in March of 2016 with my two young children and husband. The condo was wonderful- it was super clean and had everything we needed- it was great that we did not need to bring towels, beach toys, etc... The location cannot be beat. The H building is close to the gulf so it was an easy walk down to the beach every morning. We loved looking for shells and playing in the sand and surf. My kids enjoyed the pool and swam there every day too. The beach was great- not crowded at all and we saw dolphins swimming off the shore almost everyday at sunrise or sunset. We also spotted a ton of lizards, birds (there was an osprey nest right near the condo building) and even a tortoise. So amazing! On the mainland there is a Publix nearby and a several restaurants within driving distance. We had a great dinner at the Stump Pass Grill which is a tiki bar at the Stump Pass Marina. It was wonderful to eat casual food outside and enjoy the weather. We would come here again in a heartbeat (and will definitely plan a return trip!). Orlando was great- he called to make sure we had everything and even helped us arrange for a ferry ride over to the mainland on the day we left when we needed to return before the condo ferry started running. Great place- we highly recommend it!!!!"

Fishing is amazing, sunsets are a dream and the sound of the waves are so relaxing. We saw manatees, dolphins and manta rays. Perfect vacation! Thank you again Glenn and Sari."

  • Island Paradise!!

"My wife and I recently stayed at the cabbage palm cottage and could not have had a better time. The cottage extremely comfortable and the owners, Steve and Laura, are friendly and responsive. The cottage has dock access. We brought our own boat but you don't have to have one. There is and island ferry. This is a fishing paradise. We Bull and Turtle bay as well as Boca Grande Pass as well as the many artificial reefs off shore. We can't wait to come Back!"
