  • Very enjoyable!

"The owners, Greg and Mary, do a great job of making you feel welcome from the time you set foot in their home. A basket greets you with a few goodies. This was our 2nd stay at their home. First time was in March of 2014. The house is conveniently located to the bayside dock and a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils you need to cook up your fresh catch of the day. The neighbors, Alice and Rod, are delightful and helpful. We're sad to be home. Already missing the sand in our toes and the sounds of the surf in our ear."

  • Relaxing Paradise!

"My husband & I stayed at LGI in the Peacock Lane Cottage for a very relaxing vacation. Laura is wonderful in communication & accommodations. Our rescue dog joined us and loved walks on the beach- although the sand gets very hot mid day! The cottage is comfortable & well equipped- just bring your swim suit & food! There are many "extras" like beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing equipment & sandcastle building supplies. Afternoon outings on the golf cart touring the Island were enjoyable. We rented a kayak & SUP from Hooked on SUPs and they were very accommodating as well- with timely delivery and pick-up on the dock. We enjoyed sunrises on the dock and sunsets on the beach. We saw many fresh sea turtle tracks & nests in the morning along with dolphins on both the bay & ocean sides. This is the best place for a "laid back" relaxing vacation!"

  • Beach House Island Paradise

"We loved our nine day vacation at Laurie and Buddy's beach HOME. Tracey, Laurie, and Buddy were very prompt and helpful for our every question or need. Every detail was thought of. Pantry and Kichen was stocked with anything you might forget to bring along. Highlights were for us the shower, the front porch, wildlife sightings, walking the beach, and watching our dog have a great time. It is a bit tricky to get to and from the island...we decided it was worth it. The home decor was filled with cool antiques and fun things to look at. Very non generic and quite cozy. We rented a boat for part of our time and that was fun to take exploring and eating cheeseburgers with our friends to other islands. We cooked allot and laughed allot. The beach, water, weather and sunsets were outstanding. We also rented a golf cart and that was nice to have. The tv was nice to have late in the evening. This place is perfect for non handicapped adults. We had a blast. A Little slice of heaven. Thanks for sharing! Kris and Don"

  • Secluded anniversary

"My husband and I boated down to LGI for our anniversary weekend. We have rented there before, but this beach house far surpassed our previous experiences. The property is simple, in keeping with LGI beach style, but very clean. The master bedroom suite appeared freshly decorated and was very comfortable. It was so nice to step out on to the wrap around deck and enjoy the amazing beach views, which are also visible from throughout most of the inside of the property. While there is a neighbor close by, we neither saw or heard them during our stay. We kept our boat on the property's dock, a short walk behind the house. Everything was well kept and we had no issues throughout the stay. The owner was prompt and curtious in responding to our booking enquiries, and we very much hope to return to this beach rental again in the future."
