  • Overall what we expected. Very good

"We enjoyed the home. It was everything that was advertised on the website. It also provided everything we needed for our weeks stay We did have to chase down some small lizards that got in but we understand that this is Florida and that can happen The problem we did have were ants. The morning of the second day they were by the kitchen sink and then on the stove We did clean the area and sprayed. We then noticed them in the second bathroom sink and by the light switch. I called Mike Drake who came by and put out some traps. On the third day we noticed ants on the large table where we ate. Now we did not keep any food out anywhere on the counters or table. We had to be very conscious of what food we prepared to watch for ants This was very annoying after a couple days. Although our stay was good I would have to think about renting that house in the future unless the ant situation was addressed Lastly, we spent a lot of time in the pool and the pool area. The family suggested that a third bathroom be put in where the shower is located in the garage. That way you wouldn't have to walk through the whole house each time That's it. I hope this is helpful"

  • Terrific Location

"The location on the beach was wonderful and there were some really marvelous restaurants nearby. The condo itself was very clean and the appliances were new. While not plush, it was a terrific spot for a vacation stay. The layout was a little strange, with the front door leading right into the bedroom and the adjoining bedroom of the two bedroom suite also right in the master bedroom but it worked out fine and gave us a beautiful view of the beach and great sunsets. Unfortunately, the lock on the outside door of the adjoining room did not work properly and we got locked out on New Year's eve. It took some time, but the emergency number was answered and they helped us gain access to the room. Also, there was hardly any silverware in the drawer; but, again, the accommodating staff provided what we needed. The fitness center was about a block away but was well appointed, clean and available 24 hours a day, which we enjoyed."

  • Perfect family vacation and perfect place to escape the hustle of reality

"We absolutely loved our weeks stay in this condo. It was much larger and more beautiful than we expected. We had more than enough room for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). The kitchen had every single convenience of home which made breakfasts and lunches a breeze. The entire condo was very clean. The linens were very nice and plentiful. The location was perfectly situated between St. Armands Circle and Bradenton/Anna Maria Island, which were each just a few minutes drive away. There is a convenience store right across the street that has a decent adult beverage selection, as well as the necessities. We were visiting during a very quiet week, so we had the beach and pool to ourselves. Sunsets on the beach should be a mandated evening ritual - they're beautiful! There were tons and tons of shells for the kids to hunt for. The ocean was very calm and gentle, with lots of shallow area to allow for easy play. The condo was stocked with everything you need for a fun day on the beach. The pool was very clean and had plenty of chairs. The pool water was a tad chilly but didn't stop the kids from having fun. All the people in this area are so nice and friendly, it's a perfect place to escape the hustle of reality, and really relax and enjoy time away. We recommend these restaurants: Lazy Lobster, The Village Idiot Pizzeria, Ciao, Cha Cha Coconuts, Wicked Cantina, Tommy Bahama and Blue Dolphin cafe for chocolate chip pancakes. Rosa was a delight to work with and ensured we had a wonderful stay. Without a doubt, we would stay here again."
