  • Wonderful find!

"We were so pleased with this delightful cottage located in the old Longbeach Village. The cottage was accurately described and more than lived up to our expectations. The cottage has been well cared for and was comfortable for the two of us but also worked well when our daughter and adult granddaughter came to visit. The lanai, which is now more shaded and private than in the picture, was a nice surprise. Very spacious and filled with comfortable furniture. We spent warm days out there reading frequently. The kitchen works well and the bedrooms are nice size. The neighborhood is quiet but accessible to the many attractions in the area. You can reach a Publix or a drugstore in 10-12 minutes either to the north or south. The beautiful peacocks strolling up and down the street were a plus during our two month stay. Another plus are the owners who were very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. We hated to leave to come back north!"

  • A Great Place to Stay on Longboat Key

"The house is in excellent condition and quite clean. It is well situated on Longboat Key and is convenient to restaurants (recommend the Blue Dolphin for Breakfast-about a 3 minute drive), the beach and shopping (St Armand's Circle). The property is pet-friendly and our Westies did well during their stay. The dock is in very good condition and the channel is reasonably wide. If you do bring a boat in, I highly recommend studying a detailed chart, as their are many shallow spots in the area. You can not make a direct entrance into the channel from the ICW, as there is sandbar in the way. That said, if you go one channel south, it is a very easy entry. I would highly recommend getting out on the Bay and the Gulf if you get the chance. We had a great week and would return to the house again on a future vacation."

  • LOVED this Quaint cottage!

"Husband & I needed a get away & this cottage was perfect! We had the BEST time!! Great location, close to grocery store, shopping, restaurants (some in walking distance). Upgraded, Clean, cozy, comfortable, well stocked kitchen! Look at photos, that's what you get & owner/management great communication. Just the right size for a couple!! Beach access very short walk across street with your own private path. Owners provide beach chairs, small /large coolers, towels etc. Although cottage is located just off main street, traffic noise was not a problem at all. Private, quiet, back yard with shower, table/chairs & loungers PLUS a hot tub which we enjoyed every evening for "wine time" Our highlight...We chartered a sailboat for a champagne sunset cruise after dinner at Mar Vista ( of our fav restaurants) We love LBK & have visited many times over the past 20 yrs & always stayed at the high end resorts but we can't wait to return to this Gem. Highly recommend! Thanks!!!!!"
