  • Fabulous Experience at Longboat Key

"Just wanted to convey to you how much we enjoyed and adore your Paradise at Longboat Key. It served our needs so well, especially the early and late checkin and checkout. As you told me, Andrew was a delight! I could just move in to your Paradise. The seating arrangements both inside and out were so conducive to group conversations or to have privacy for reading or meditating. We cooked out one evening and it was such a treat not to fight the restaurants on Memorial Day weekend. The location was perfect for our 4 days of Junior golf at the Long Boat Key Golf Club. We want to rent your Paradise again in the future. I didn’t want to leave."

  • A Great Place to Stay on Longboat Key

"The house is in excellent condition and quite clean. It is well situated on Longboat Key and is convenient to restaurants (recommend the Blue Dolphin for Breakfast-about a 3 minute drive), the beach and shopping (St Armand's Circle). The property is pet-friendly and our Westies did well during their stay. The dock is in very good condition and the channel is reasonably wide. If you do bring a boat in, I highly recommend studying a detailed chart, as their are many shallow spots in the area. You can not make a direct entrance into the channel from the ICW, as there is sandbar in the way. That said, if you go one channel south, it is a very easy entry. I would highly recommend getting out on the Bay and the Gulf if you get the chance. We had a great week and would return to the house again on a future vacation."

  • Nice Condo, Pretty View

"What a great place to relax. Caught a couple fish from the dock out back. The place was very clean when we arrived, the setup was great for the 3 of us (could easily hold more). The condo is well decorated, nice comfortable couches etc. The walk to the beach was pretty easy, we just filled up the stroller and went down about a 5 min walk. Unfortunately our trip was cut short by a tropical storm, I could have stayed here a month. Heat and air, washing machine, dishwasher etc all worked fine. I drove around the area and found nothing like this, the wildlife out back was amazing, the pond and all the scenery made this place feel great. Plenty of huge birds, fish jumping out of the water, a few people paddle boarding and kayaking, a boat would easily have traveled in the water there as it was very deep in most parts. We will certainly be back. The people that own this were a treat to work with, they were attentive friendly people. The beach was very clean and large, it is separated by 2 fishing piers, then there is another busier beach just a short walk north (beer can island I think) which attracted a little younger crowd. We did not get to see the turtles but there were many nests on the beach. Just up the road across the bridge we found plenty of restaurants, if you are up for a short drive the Sandbar Restaurant (around 5 miles north) was very good."
