"We rented this property because of the beach, the view, pet friendly, and the ease of travel. It was fantastic for all those reasons. We discovered a relaxing home, dated but comfortable. It has three bedrooms.... The upstairs was perfect for our grandchildren and daughter. We noticed a needed repair and it was attended to in a timely manner. The beach was right there, perfect, turtles nesting each night, were able to walk the pups on the beach with a leash daily without an issue. The property is so welcoming and user friendly. We will visit again to search for the many shark teeth we discovered. The neighbors are friendly too. The beach is perfect! We discovered a few great restaurants on th island also and Publix was quite close. The location is perfect. Sunsets are fantastic and private. You can see the public beach to the north, but no crowds by us;) we came home with lots of shells and shark teeth. There's a boat ramp close by....the hot tub and pool are a bonus. Wish we would have walked the beach at night. We highly recommend this property and will stay again!"

  • Loved Every Minute!

"What a pleasant surprise we had on our first stay on Siesta Key. We were lucky to find a villa that would rent for 2 weeks; most are monthly during season. Villa is large, comfortable, with new furnishings and new TVs, including the huge 60" TV in the living room. There was enough space for everyone to do their own thing yet come together as a group. We walked to the beach, to the grocery store, to the local restaurants. We rented kayaks and bikes and explored a lot of the island. Weather was picture-perfect, which was an added bonus for mid February. The sun was always out, and we enjoyed the heated pool when not at the beach or exploring. Found some great 'dive' bars, and we really loved walking to the local outdoor bars with music every night. We also did a dinner cruise from Marina Jack's. Highly recommended! We also loved the Ringling Mansion and Museum. Not enough time to do it all!! A villa is the way to go ~ no shared walls; total privacy. We had a parking pad also, which comes in handy for groceries and other shopping. We hope to be back for a longer stay next year. Everyone in the complex was friendly, and the owner is super-responsive."

  • Great choice of a vacation rental

"From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were immediately blown away - this house is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean, all amenities were basically covered for us, only thing we had to provide was the food and drink. As soon as you enter through the gigantic set of teak front doors your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning views of the gulf through all the doors/windows along the rear of the house. Attention was definitely paid to details with this property - from the open floor plan to the in-house elevator to the massive master bedroom suite. The house has 5 bedrooms (4 with king beds, 1 with 2 twins and fold-out couches). There is also a sitting area outside one of the bedrooms that contains another fold-out couch. There are also 5 full baths (2 of which are in the master suite) and 2 half baths. TV's are provided in every bedroom as well as the media room, with AppleTV (Netflix, Hulu) with each. Waking up in the morning in the master suite is something that words cannot describe - the view off the foot of the bed is wall-to-wall gulf and palm trees. The kitchen is quite large, with pairs of everything - dishwashers, ovens, sinks and refridgerators. There is a screened porch directly off the kitchen, in addition to a large rear patio with furniture and palm trees next to the pool. The pool itself it nice although unfortunately one panel of the screen covering was missing from a storm prior to our arrival and as a result the pool was dirty on a daily basis with bugs and sand. The owner's were very responsive and were working to secure a new pool person while we were there although the pool was never cleaned once during our stay. There are several large sheds next to the pool containing umbrellas, chairs and toys for the beach. The beach itself is awesome, with a large amount of private space and a gorgeous view - we literally saw maybe a dozen people a day walking along the beach but that was it. Venice itself is about a 15-20 min drive, and Englewood about 15 mins south. There are some restaurants and stores within a 15 minute drive but it's not overly commercialized - in fact it appears that the Venice/Englewood/North Port areas are all suffering from economic downturn with significant amounts of vacant stores. All in all we had an outstanding time and would definitely come back, not to mention recommending this property to everyone we know who would be interested."

  • great location

"Cleverly and tastefully redecorated older apartment. The two units are separated by a carport. Not a luxury condo but very nice and suited our tastes perfectly. This is an ideal place for a couple. The location is awesome and very quiet at night. Beautiful wooded lot. The only negative is that we felt uncomfortable walking through a neighbor's yard to the beach as we were instructed. The beach is great and rather private and we took the kayak out for a paddle in the bay which is about fifty yards from the condo. It is about 150 yard walk to the beach. I cooked on an actual charcoal grill for the first time in many years. Forgot how good it was. Definitely would return."
