  • Nice Home

"Very clean, well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the beach. Excellent kitchen. We were pleased and would consider returning for a longer stay than our 3 night test. Owner very easy to deal with and helpful."

  • Great location, beautiful beach

"We loved this condo right on Turtle Beach! It was clean, well equipped and convenient to things to do, yet very private. Water views on both sides (canal and gulf). We loved listening to the surf and watching the sunsets right from the condo. We were only 5 - 10 minutes away from fun restaurants and shopping in Siesta Keys. Blase' Cafe our favorite! Rented bikes in Venice (Real Bikes - great bikes, great people)- rode the Legacy Trail. Myakka State Park - highly recommend checking this out - approx 1/2 hour away. Took great pics of birds and crocs! Love St Armands Circle in Sarasota, and the drive up Gulf Drive to Anna Maria island. Also a must do. Loved Gulf Drive Cafe right on the beach, stopped to check out Coquina Beach, and in Anna Maria, check out "Sandbar" for feet in the sand dining and also the town pier. Also Mr. Bonz BBQ. Also want to complement property manager Lisa for dealing with a maintenance issue in a prompt and professional manner. We will be back, there is a ton to do in this area and we feel like we only scratched the surface. Thanks for a great stay!"

  • Fantastic Family Vacation!

"We were the second family with jpearl, and I second everything already said. This was an extremely comfortable and clean house with all necessities, and Manasota Key is a hidden treasure of Florida's west coast. All 8 persons (read personalities), kids (11-16) and adults, enjoyed themselves immensely! The ocean is your backyard in this beautiful and quiet neighborhood, and the water temperature was always 68-72 degrees...lovely for December! There is a 10-second walk to the quiet beach with very little foot traffic - the public beach is over half mile to the north. The available beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, kayaks, inflatable tubes, paddle board, skim board, boogie board, fishing poles, and shark tooth screen tools made for many fun-packed memorable days on the beach. And the outdoor showers helped keep the sand where it belongs: outside. The town is a short drive away for convenient shopping and restaurants. But the full kitchen and screened lanai with a large BBQ area makes staying in for meals an easy choice. There was one day with cold cloudy weather, but at this house our vacation was not stalled. The house is equipped for any type of weather: it is pleasantly temperature-controlled for hot or cold, has multiple large-screen TVs and a game closet, and there is a hot tub near the back patio area. And of course the beach is always available for calming walks and shell-collecting during any weather. There is also an elevator from the front garage area to the kitchen/main floor, but we did not use it; it would be convenient for those who require an alternative to stairs, and with the large upstairs living room with a wall of windows, or the screened lanai off this room, there are convenient observation areas of the beach without having to go to the beach. Most windows provide fantastic views of the beach and ocean at any time of the day, and the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep! Even the front yard is well-manicured beautiful and set back from the main street. We would repeat this vacation in a heartbeat!"

  • Get Away

"We rented this property because of the beach, the view, pet friendly, and the ease of travel. It was fantastic for all those reasons. We discovered a relaxing home, dated but comfortable. It has three bedrooms.... The upstairs was perfect for our grandchildren and daughter. We noticed a needed repair and it was attended to in a timely manner. The beach was right there, perfect, turtles nesting each night, were able to walk the pups on the beach with a leash daily without an issue. The property is so welcoming and user friendly. We will visit again to search for the many shark teeth we discovered. The neighbors are friendly too. The beach is perfect! We discovered a few great restaurants on th island also and Publix was quite close. The location is perfect. Sunsets are fantastic and private. You can see the public beach to the north, but no crowds by us;) we came home with lots of shells and shark teeth. There's a boat ramp close by....the hot tub and pool are a bonus. Wish we would have walked the beach at night. We highly recommend this property and will stay again!"
