"Great location! Beach is across the street! Restaurants and live music within walking distance. Condo was well appointed and the dumb waiter was a bonus! Stairs could be a problem for some people. Thanks Jay"

  • Cozy, Comfortable, Clean

"This condo is small, but perfect for a couple looking to completely relax and enjoy the warm sunshine of SW Florida. The place was spotless when we arrived and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The owners were lovely to deal with and other residents polite and friendly. Daily walks on the beach, afternoon bobbing in the pool, and wonderful local restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The perfect antidote for de-stressing. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon."

  • A hidden hidden treasure and "Castle in the Sky" - Get ready for a fantastic vacation.

"We rented this amazing home for a week to celebrate the life of my Uncle who recently passed away at 90 and who resided in Engelwood since the 1970's. We decided to bring some family together for a week in his hometown with my Aunt and his family. Luckily, this home was available and provided a wonderful solution and home for us during this time. This house is loaded with design and luxury. It is decorated with both good taste and style. It has a unique layout with the first floor providing 4 nice size bedrooms, 3 baths and an informal recreation room. The upstairs level is for full entertainment with a wonderful kitchen that has everything one needs to entertain. The dinning room and living room are very comfortable with huge views of the Manasota Keys beach and the Gulf Ocean. There are outdoor space is available on both levels. The upstairs deck is to is breath taking with views of the Golf and the Bay. One feels like you are in a private treehouse with views abound. The owner(s) has taken great detail to make this home a special get away in a private home with a resort / hotel feel including luxury towel, beach towels, nice bed lines and evening vanity shower gel, shampoo and conditioners in every bathroom. There are DVDs, games, books, hair dryers, all the cleaning supplies, laundry and dishwasher supplies one needs. The home has been well cared and demonstrates pride of ownership. I believe this to be one of Manasota Key / Engelwood's best vacation rentals and we feel fortunate to have stubbled upon it. "A hidden treasure - a castle in the sky". The owner's communication is excellent and she executes on her word. I was nervous about renting and payment. Lynda was very professional and committed to making this a smooth transaction. Not one issue including seamless access through detailed instructions provided electronically for access and departure. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental home and the owner's professional business transaction and communication. Deposit with returned without any issues. We will definitely stay there again!!!! We are grateful for this special home during a time of memorial and celebration with our family. My 85 year old mother said it best when we were flying home….."The vacation was a "10"!! Thank you Lynda for sharing your home. Wow!!!!!!"

  • Great location with private beach and gazebo

"Our family consisted of six adults and two children. There was plenty of room for all of us to have private and shared spaces. We especially enjoyed the large dining room for our family meals. We spent a lot of time at the gazebo in the late afternoon and early evening as we watched the daily sunset. We kept the boat at the boat dock and tried our hand at catching some of the fish that was hanging around the dock. Stump Pass was just a short boat ride away with nice sandy beaches and Don Pedro Island was a great spot for shelling. The reason I can't give this 5 stars is due to the repairs that need to be done to the house and the outdoor areas. Pressure washing, painting, dock repairs, and electrical rewiring would enhance the property. Patricia promptly responded to our concerns about the wiring and the AC drainage issue and I hope that those issues will be corrected. Overall this is a nice rustic beach house and provides a lot of space for a family. We would stay again. Thanks, Sandy"
