  • LOVED this Quaint cottage!

"Husband & I needed a get away & this cottage was perfect! We had the BEST time!! Great location, close to grocery store, shopping, restaurants (some in walking distance). Upgraded, Clean, cozy, comfortable, well stocked kitchen! Look at photos, that's what you get & owner/management great communication. Just the right size for a couple!! Beach access very short walk across street with your own private path. Owners provide beach chairs, small /large coolers, towels etc. Although cottage is located just off main street, traffic noise was not a problem at all. Private, quiet, back yard with shower, table/chairs & loungers PLUS a hot tub which we enjoyed every evening for "wine time" Our highlight...We chartered a sailboat for a champagne sunset cruise after dinner at Mar Vista (btw...one of our fav restaurants) We love LBK & have visited many times over the past 20 yrs & always stayed at the high end resorts but we can't wait to return to this Gem. Highly recommend! Thanks!!!!!"

  • A very nice well appointed condo in an ideal location and the island fantastic

"We were impressed with your condo when we first walked in. The colors used on furniture and bedding were very cheerful. We loved the screened in porch on the ground floor were we could be on the beach in a minute. While we ate all meals out (with the exception of making coffee each morning) the kitchen was well appointed with everything one would need to prepare meals. Shells were plentiful on the beach and in the water and there would be no excuse not to take some home. Just be sure if a shell contains a critter, you return that shell to the water. We visited many of the recommended places and found the Shell Museum exceptional and a must see for any visitor. The island itself was beautiful. I have never seen such a varied variety of palm trees. I loved it that the shopping areas contained so much vegetation instead of just hot parking lots. My two companions enjoyed shopping at some unique stores. Even though it was mid November that were plenty of plants.in bloom. Both Sanibel and Captiva Island were beautiful and a place where I want to return. The owners supplied us with two bicycles and while I am 77 and have not been on a bicycle for years,, I enjoyed practicing riding again going around and around the parking lot. So much fun. There are so many restaurants, it was hard to make a decision where to go but we found all we tried served very good food.. I have traveled the Gulf Coast for many years and this is definitely one place where I wish to return and if possible I would hope to rent from these owners. You will love it here."
