  • well equiped kitchen close to south beach

"Standard two bed two bath condo/resort. Beach was about three block walk. Very nice beach with lots of shells. We ate in most evenings and found the kitchen to have just about any thing you could think of even a double boiler to steam shrimp. We had some difficulty with the Wi-Fi and our ATT cell phones had limited use without going outside."

"This place is beautiful. The lanai/pool area was great and the best part was the Tiki Bar on the dock. We spent much time there grilling, fishing and enjoying the sunsets. The place was very clean and well stocked. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed swimming in the pool with southern exposure, so the sun is on it all day. We ate all our meals outside at the large dining table. My family and I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again whenever we are planning a trip to Marco Island."

  • So relaxing, great house in great location!

"We rented this home for a week and loved it! It is well represented in the photos and nicely appointed. It was very clean when we arrived. Everything you need to cook is available, plenty of linens and towels. There were only 2 of us so we had PLENTY of room. We had overnight guests 2 nights and it was perfect for entertaining. The location is easy walking distance to the entrance to the beach. If you haven't been on this end of Marco Island before, please note that there is a long walk to the actual ocean but very doable. Tigertail Beach is very nice and beautifully maintained with snack bar (great food), playground, parking, kayak and paddle board rentals BUT it is not on the ocean, it's on a lagoon which is perfect for young children and activities. To get to the ocean you walk around through an expansive beach area or wade through the lagoon (just below hips at highest point). It was quick and easy to do that but if you have a lot of gear (chairs, coolers, little kids etc.) it can be tricky. If you walk around with lots of stuff, I would drive and park at the end of the lot and walk from there. BUT, with the wonderful pool and dock at the house you don't have to spend all day at the beach. I walked the ocean beach in the morning for exercise, then we relaxed by the pool most of the day, then we took an afternoon walk through the lagoon and down to the less traveled AMAZING north end of ocean beach. Lovely vacation."
