  • The Perfect Beach Condo

"We just returned from our 5th visit to the Egret Condo. We keep coming back to this beautiful and well maintained property. The location is superb and the view is wonderful. The furnishings are lovely. The kitchen has everything you need. Cannot say enough about this charming well kept property. The owners add all the extra fine touches to make your stay a trip to remember."

  • Great Location / Amazing Views / Well Equipped

"This condo was in the perfect location on the southern end of Ft Myers Beach. There is a small lagoon that forms between the shoreline and houses/condos that actually carries over into the dry season. Riviera Club is on the northern tip of this lagoon. This made getting to the beach so easy. If you stay any further south on the island you have to walk way around the lagoon to get to the beach. There are not many rental condo's that are located in the upper floors of buildings. You definitely want to stay here! We were able to sit on the balcony and watch dolphins out front. Those on the beach did not even see them in the water! The unit was very well equipped. Jeff has two bikes there for us to use, which we did. There is plenty of beach items to use - umbrella (you will want this!), floaties, etc. Also there is plenty of towels, kitchen items, washer/dryer in unit and such that made life so easy for us. There is also a pool and hot tub in this complex which is a great alternative. This unit is in a great location for both on-island activities and off-island fun. There is a small shopping center about 2 blocks away that has 5 different places to eat (two of which have bars) so the evening meal is within walking distance. If you want to go into town it is a short drive or trolley ride away. Off island (definitely use the south bridge) we made a day trip to the Everglades very easily. We found more things to do than we actually had time for! It is well worth it to rent a power boat and explore the mangroves; Lovers Key State Park has kayaks for rent - we saw baby dolphins and manatee during our venture; Sanibel Island and so much more. Here is a hint for extra fun: walk the beach at low tide. You will be amazed at the creatures that are only visible during low tide! As for those of you who are looking for those unique shells - this is a great beach for them. We found better shells on this beach than those on the famous Sanibel beaches. Please be respectful though and do not take live shells - yes there are lots of shells that are still being used by their owners! Finally, Jeff was great to work with. He was very responsive to my inquiries / questions."

  • Awesome Family Getaway

"This condo provided our family with an awesome getaway and perfect opportunity to spend time together. It was our first visit to LGI, and we had beautiful weather (sunny and 80s) every day. We enjoyed jumping waves in the warm Gulf water, exploring the island on the golf cart (we rented from Julie), playing games, doing puzzles and enjoying family meals on the lanai with the sound of ocean waves in the background. It's difficult to see the ocean from the condo due to palm trees separating the complex from the beach, but the ocean is merely a short walk through the "backyard." I believe it's probably one of the closest units to the beach. The island is full of beauty, fun, relaxation and shells galore. The condo had enough space for our family of five and was well equipped with kitchen needs and beach toys. Julie even provided a crockpot upon my request. The ferry rides were a great free service, but you do have to be careful to plan the times correctly when leaving and returning to the island. Julie was very helpful in providing us directions on our way there and was available when we had questions. She promptly sent us back our deposit upon our return."

  • Best vacation house, ever!

"The house was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Greg and Veronica are terrific hosts, I had forgotten my crockpot when checking in, and she said "I'll bring you one over." So accomodating and helpful. The layout of the house was superb. Great for entertaining. We were in Sarasota for several events, Dad's 81st birthday, my parents 60th anniversary party and a big reunion of cousins from all over. We were the hosts for the anniversary party and it was a BIG hit! All the relatives LOVED the home and it was so easy to prepare and serve food in the enormous kitchen. We had all the utensils and serviceware and cookware we could possibly need. All the beds were very comfortable. The pool table was a HUGE hit - great fun for the kids and adults alike. The kids loved the playhouse out back and the patio was very enjoyable as well with plenty of seating, a big patio table to seat six and a firepit. So close to the beach, and shopping and absolutely a pleasurable place to visit. We look forward to coming back again! Thank you, Veronica and Greg - it was a very memorable vacation!"
