  • Billy and Betty

"We have just spent a week at Kate's Place and could not have enjoyed it more. She was such a gracious host and cook..the key lime pie was delicious. The cute get-away was very well cared for and as clean as anyone could possibly ask for. There were several places to sit and watch the wildlife and boats go by. We even saw a raccoon on two different occasions . This place was close to everything we wanted to do and yet offered the privacy and quiet time that we were looking for. We will definitely be return visitors."

  • This house was the highlight of our holiday!

"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The house is spacious, clean and smells and looks 'new'. Photos displayed here are already giving a good overview of what to expect, but in real-life we liked it even better. We were on a holiday with our 6-year old son, who was afraid of sleeping upstairs on his own and it was easy to make a bed from the (comfortable) pull-out couch. We were outside most of the time and enjoyed the pool and large sitting area without lanai. For me a big plus, as I don't feel caged and closer to nature. In the early mornings mornings I enjoyed my coffee and looked at the wildlife in the lake! Pelicans diving in for fish in the morning and fish jumping out ;-) in the afternoon. Allthough there was no cover, the pool was very clean and our son enjoyed himself getting the few leaves out of it every morning. We stayed in for dinner almost every night to cook healthy or grill and every item needed was present for all that you might need. We ate in the covered area at night and had breakfast outside while our son was already playing in the water. The area is beautifully landscaped and it was so quiet and peaceful. We didn't even see the neighbours the whole week and waved back to friendly people driving by when we left the house. As we had added the Players Club Membership to our booking, I must admit that I would have loved to explore this even more during our stay (which obviously was too short!). My husband went to the health club a few times in the morning by bike and was astounished by the space and possibilities. He loved it. We sat by the large pool at the club in the afternoon and the whole family loved swimming and sunbathing. There were several pools and all kinds of (relaxed) people; young and older. We had lunch a few times too, which was very good. I can recommend to add the membership when you stay here. Arriving at the house, dealing with the owner/property manager went very smooth and enjoyable. There was a great deal of trust, which I very much appreciated. Grocery shopping at Publix was very close, Naples was not as close as we thought (but easily doable when having a car) and we greatly enjoyed the beach of Sanibel and Little Hickory Island beach. (Visited after the canoe trip with Paddle Naples, also recommended :-) seen manatees, dolphin) The house provides everything for the day at the beach; chairs, umbrella, cooler, toys, etc.. I will recommend this house and hope to be able to visit again!"

  • Wonderful Condo for Escape from Northeast Winter

"Absolutely great time for my wife and me away from NJ during winter months of Jan/Feb 2016. The condo was spacious, immaculately clean, and very well appointed with extensive kitchen/bath amenities, multiple wall mounted flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and an en suite bathroom and large walk-in closet adjoining the master bedroom. We loved the condo's aft facing screened lanai with a view of a meandering brook-like bubbling water feature amongst well maintained greenery. Within the Pelican Bay complex there was much to do. There is a modern fitness center with the latest equipment and a tennis club with numerous courts, and at the top of our list is the tram service through the mangroves leading to the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico for sunning and swimming. The greater Naples area had much to offer as well, including fine restaurants, great shopping, a zoo, and the Artis-Naples Cultural Center offering New York quality concerts and plays with famous artists/celebrities. The property owner made our visit even more enjoyable by checking with us to make sure everything met our expectations. We had a really great time and look forward to doing this again. Highly recommended!"

  • Great location

"We stayed at this apartment for a week. It was fully furnished with everything you need (lots of kitchen utensils/pots/pans, towels, soap, hangers, etc.). It was a full kitchen with dishwasher. There is a laundry room (more like a closet) in the unit free of charge with laundry detergent. You will have to do lot of loads since it is very tiny though. There is cable on the tvs. The bed is a double/queen so very small if you are used to sleeping in a king. The unit is very small (maybe 600sq. ft) with one full bathroom but you can't beat the location if you are staying for a short time. 5th Avenue is a block away (note that there are avenues and streets so we were looking for this place on 5th ave when we should have been looking for 5th street). It comes with one free reserved parking spot. The private complex pool is right outside your door and is very quiet. Besides the bed and the outdated furniture/décor, this place is great unit to reserve for a week."
