  • Even better than the photographs !

"Looks great on the site , even better when you first walk through the front door ! So light, spacious, clean and well presented . The location is superb and the proximity/easy access to the beach is such a bonus. La Scala building itself is very well maintained and has a charming ambiance. The 'remote ' booking/arrivals process linking Naples, East Sussex UK and Indiana was seamless and efficient ! Maria was a pleasure to deal with and I really hope to have the opportunity to return in the near future. Had a great time enjoying a family wedding but for sure this property will only enhance your time spent in Naples whatever the reason for your visit ."

  • Great place on a canal

"This is a great place on a canal. The house is very nice with everything you need for your stay. (dishes, utensils, pots and pans, towels including beach towels and bikes) The furniture is very comfortable as are the mattresses. There are many restaurants close by, as well as grocery stores and 2 beaches. The backyard is beautifully landscaped. Palm trees, bushes, flowers, pavers for the eating/entertaining area and grass for a nice contrast. The pool is very nice and the canal is really scenic. With the tide coming in and out, there is a current almost all the time. One day we did see a dolphin just 10 feet off the dock. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the backyard and pool. The property is very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this property."

  • Great experience

"Everything other reviewers have stated is accurate. Tom was easy to work with and very response to questions and had great suggestions, i.e. Where to rent a boat. The cottage was impeccable and very up to date. All the amenities make for a great vacation, particularly the bikes and beach equipment. The only down side is its close proximity to US 41 with all the road noise and congestion. Having said that you are well located to take advantage of all that Naples offers. The beds are heavenly. Don't miss the Real McCaw restaurant less than 1 mile away for a fantastic local treat. I'll be back to the cottage!"

  • Better than advertised!

"Our month in Naples was great this year. Our unit was so bright and spacious. It was pleasant even on a rainy afternoon. We spent time by the pool and on our lanai when we weren't out visiting various attractions in the area. The shopping district was a nice walk away and I got my exercise by walking down there and window shopping. Tin City was even closer and also a nice place to walk. Plus, we walked in and out of the lovely streets right in the community. The unit was well equipped with both small and large appliances. The dishes and glassware were plentiful. The bed was very comfortable. We ate in some great restaurants, many reasonably priced. Joe Kayal was a pleasure to to business with. Both efficient and thoughtful. Everything went very smoothly, from contract signing, meeting recommended neighbors for help and information and, sadly, leaving."
